As of now, I am in control here, in the White House

Huckabee Sanders: If You Only Have Questions on Transgender, Briefing’s Over

Sarah Huckabee Sanders very calmly and very demurely and very directly threatened to shut down the briefing Wednesday if all the press wanted to talk about was President Trump’s decision to ban transgenders from the military.

Of course, this decision affects about .00001 percent of the population. That is, the number of people who, coincidentally, want to serve in the military and also want to change their sex. But for the Washington elites, this is a question of immense concern, a do or die proposition, and an attempt by Trump to tear up the Constitution and use it for drywall in one of his buildings.

To which Sanders Huckabee responded:

Guys, I really don’t have anything else to add on that topic. As I do, I’ll keep you posted. But if those are the only questions we have, I’m gonna call it a day.

Huckabee Sanders Warns of National Health Care

The White House finally seems to be getting some good messaging going in support of Obamacare repeal. With Democrats scaring everybody that repealing the law is going to kill people, Republicans haven’t sufficiently scared people right back.

Trump Monday declared, accurately, that “Obamacare is death.” As it degrades the health care system, people will die. Even hard working people who think they have good health insurance, because rationing must occur, and even the quality of doctors willing to put up with the new system will decline.

White House Briefing Wednesday Again to be Off-Camera

Well, this is going to cause the MSM to go ballistic, given that yesterday’s briefing was also off camera.

Once again, Sarah Huckabee Sanders will be ringmaster. Ringmistress? No, that doesn’t sound right, best to stay with the sexist male version of the term. Looks like Sean Spicer is increasingly fading into the background.

Remember, off camera is not off the record.

Funny, I remember when I was covering the Monica Lewinsky scandal during the Clinton administration, Bill Clinton didn’t take any questions from reporters for about a year. I don’t recall much of a hue and cry.
