Warren Pulls Even With Biden in New National Poll of Dems

Elizabeth Warren is in a statistical with Joe Biden’s in the latest national poll of Democratic voters, suggesting the former vice president and aspiring octogenarian’s faltering performance on the campaign trail may be catching up with him.

A new Economist/YouGov poll puts Joe at 21 percent and Liz at 20 percent nationally. Bernie is the only other candidate in double digits, with 16 percent, followed by Kamala at 8 percent. Beto has 5 percent, which means he still has a chance and which is too bad, because he is very annoying.

Cory Booker, is vies with Beto for the most annoying candidate in the field, is at 2 percent and badly needs a Spartacus moment.

Several candidates were at zero percent. You know, the ones you’d expect. Which suggests the field may be thinning soon.

Warren, O’Rourke Say Trump is a White Supremacist

Beto of course is doing everything he can to revive his failing campaign.

Elizabeth Warren has more credibility on who is a white nationalist, given that she is Native American.

Yes, that’s a joke.

According to the Washington Post:

Two Democratic presidential candidates — Sen. Elizabeth Warren (Mass.) and former congressman Beto O’Rourke (Tex.) — said Wednesday that they consider President Trump to be a white supremacist, an extraordinary charge against a sitting president.

Both White House hopefuls shared their comments on a day when Trump visited two cities mourning mass shootings, including El Paso, where the gunman who killed 22 people appeared to have written an essay echoing Trump’s disparaging language about immigration.

The New York Times reported that Warren, when asked in a brief interview if she believes Trump is a white supremacist, replied “yes” without hesitation.

“He has given aid and comfort to white supremacists,” Warren said during a campaign stop in Council Bluffs, Iowa. “He’s done the wink and a nod. He has talked about white supremacists as fine people. He’s done everything he can to stir up racial conflict and hatred in this country.”

O’Rourke was asked during an interview on MSNBC on Wednesday if he considers Trump to be a white supremacist.

“He is,” O’Rourke replied. “He’s also made that very clear. He’s dehumanized or sought to dehumanize those who do not look like or pray like the majority here in this country. . . . He’s been clear who he wants to keep out with walls and cages and militarization and torture and cruelty.”

Kind of fun.

Here’s some of the service to the country by Defense Secretary nominee Mark Esper that Elizabeth Warren casually discounts. Via Wikipedia:

Esper served as an infantry officer with the 101st Airborne Division and deployed with the “Screaming Eagles” for the 1990–91 Gulf War. His battalion was part of the famous “left hook” that led to the defeat of the Iraqi Army. For his actions, Esper was awarded a Bronze Star, the Combat Infantryman’s Badge, and various service medals.[11] He later led an Airborne Rifle Company in Europe and served as an army fellow at the Pentagon.[10] Esper was on active duty for over ten years before transitioning to the District of Columbia Army National Guard and later the Army Reserve, rising to the rank of lieutenant colonel.[13] Esper is a recipient of the Department of Defense Medal for Distinguished Public Service. Among his military awards and decorations are the Legion of Merit, Bronze Star Medal, the Kuwait Liberation Medal, Kuwait Liberation Medal – Saudi Arabia, and the Combat Infantryman Badge.[14]

Meantime, Elizabeth Warren was pretending to be a Native American so she could advance her career. I’m just saying!

Elizabeth Warren, Kamala Harris Support Reparations

Even Bernie isn’t backing reparations. At least not yet.

According to Fox News:

Two leading Democratic presidential candidates — U.S. Sens. Kamala Harris of California and Elizabeth Warren of Massachusetts — have reportedly said they support reparationsfor black Americans affected by slavery, reflecting a shift in the importance of race and identity issues within the party.

The New York Times reported Thursday that Harris doubled down on her support for reparations after agreeing with a host on the popular radio show “The Breakfast Club” that the race-conscious policy was necessary to address the legacies of slavery and discrimination in the United States.

“We have to be honest that people in this country do not start from the same place or have access to the same opportunities,” Harris said in the statement to the Times. “I’m serious about taking an approach that would change policies and structures and make real investments in black communities.”

Warren also supports reparations. “We must confront the dark history of slavery and government-sanctioned discrimination in this country that has had many consequences, including undermining the ability of black families to build wealth in America for generations,” she told the Times. “We need systemic, structural changes to address that.”

I’m predicting great things.

For whomever she’s running against.

Today, Sen. Elizabeth Warren announced she’s forming an “exploratory committee.” I’m sorry, I just don’t see it. Doesn’t sound genuine. She might be genuine, but she doesn’t sound it. And she lacks a sense of strength and presence possessed even by Hillary, whatever you want to say about her.

It’s not about male or female. People have to have a sense you’re willing to kill millions of people with nuclear weapons. Warren, no. Cory Booker, no. Kamala Harris, yes. Hillary, yes. Trump, yes.

National Congress of American Indians: DNA Testing Can’t Prove Heritage

We already know that Elizabeth Warren’s claim of Native American ancestry is silly, because the results of her DNA test show that she might be something like 1/256th American Indian. What’s more, she’s lied in the past, listing herself simply as “Native American,” which is unequivocally untrue.

But according to the nation’s largest and oldest Native American organization, the National Congress of Indians, it gets even worse.

A paper on the NCAI website, written to answer Native American leader’s concerns about claims people make that they are of American Indian heritage, states that it’s not possible:

One type of DNA testing called DNA fingerprinting can be used to help document close biological relationships, such as those between parents and children, as well as among other close family members. Other kinds of testing for genetic ancestry use markers to see how similar an individual is to a broader population or group, based on probabilities drawn from databases of research on populations and group genetic characteristics.

However, no DNA testing can “prove” an individual is American Indian and/or Alaska Native, or has ancestry from a specific tribe. Genetic testing can provide evidence for the biological relationship between two individuals (e.g., paternity testing), but there are no unique genes for individual tribes or American Indian/Alaska Native (AI/AN) ancestry in general. While research scientists have found that some genetic markers are found mostly only in AI/ANs, these markers are neither unique to AI/ANs nor predictive of AI/AN identity.

Actual Native Americans are properly outraged that she’s claiming to share their heritage.

“It makes a mockery out of DNA tests and its legitimate uses while also dishonoring legitimate tribal governments and their citizens, whose ancestors are well documented and whose heritage is proven,” Cherokee Nation Secretary of State Chuck Hoskin Jr. said in a statement. “Senator Warren is undermining tribal interests with her continued claims of tribal heritage.”

Warren should not only be ashamed of herself, she has harmed her presidential prospects by showing herself a fool and an liar. The Democrats have plenty of other potential candidates, and will more likely choose one a little less strange. Althogh given the currrent roster, I’m not sure that’s possible.

Lindsey Graham to Take DNA Test to See If He’s More Native American Than Warren

Sen. Lindsey Graham, R-S.C., is a lot of fun. He has a certain joie de vivre, sense of humor, and mischievousness that I enjoy, even if sometimes he’s too moderate for my taste.

Now he’s decided to take a blood test to see if one of his relatives slept with a Native American way back.

“I’m going to take a DNA test,” Graham told “Fox and Friends” Tuesday. “I’ve been told my grandmother was part Cherokee Indian. It may all just be talk.”

I’ll bet we all have some kind of weirdness in our DNA we were never aware of. How could it be that Jews like me, for example, have fair skin when they’re an Asian race? Well, they lived in Europe for centuries, and guess what musta been goin’ on . . . not all of it was kept within The Tribe, apparently.

And how about the other part of Sen. Warren’s ancestry? It’s all white folks. I’m willing to be she has more people in her background who were killing Native Americans or oppressing blacks than she does Native Americans.

What about that part of her heritage? I’ll be she didn’t put “Plantation Owner” on her resume.

Graham says he wants not just the $1 million Warren thinks she was promised from Trump if she took a test – she wasn’t – but a casino too.

No, Trump Does Not Need to Give $1 million to Elizabeth Warren’s Favorite Charity

Elizabeth Warren today is touting a DNA test that indicates she is at best, 1/64th Native American, and more likely about 1/256th Native American, to justify the misleading claims she made earlier in her career to list herself as a Native American in a directory of law professors. The test indicates that she has a Native… Continue Reading

Elizabeth Warren Called Out for Saying Criminal Justice System “Racist” from “Front to Back”

This is great. Elizabeth Warren faced the following question at a town hall Thursday: As a young American of color, your recent comments that you made a new Orleans are just a little bit concerning to me. You said that the justice system . . . is racist from front to back. I’m just concerned… Continue Reading
