Beto O’Rourke is not going to win the Democratic primary. But his plan to confiscate guns from law-abiding citizen could destroy whoever does win it.
That’s because what conservatives have always suspected about Democrats is that in the end, what they want to do is abolish the Second Amendment and take away people’s guns. Beto provides evidence that this is exactly the case. And plenty of people will vote against the future Democratic nominee based on this concern.
Beto wants everyone’s AR-15’s. These among the most popular firearms. And plenty of good people want one not just because they are fun to shoot at the range, but because they want to make sure they are as well-armed as whoever breaks into there house.
Just imagine him sending the cops in to take those guns. Because that’s what he’ll have to do. Talk about a volatile situation.
Because people will cooperate, you see? And those who don’t cooperate, we won’t send in the cops. Except, maybe, if they need a little more convincing to voluntarily comply with the mandatory confiscation. Then maybe the police will stop by, you know, have some coffee, ask a few questions.
“No. I don’t see the law enforcement going door to door. I see Americans complying with the law. I see us working with gun owners, non-gun owners, local, county, state, federal law enforcement to come up with the best possible solution. I have yet to meet an owner of an AR-15 who thinks it’s OK that we have these kind of mass killings in this country,” O’Rourke said when asked by the Washington Examiner about specifics of his plan.
When pressed further about how he plans to enforce his proposal for those who would not comply, he responded, “How do you — how do we enforce any law? There’s a significant reliance on people complying with the law. You know that a law is not created in a vacuum.”
Two Democratic presidential candidates — Sen. Elizabeth Warren (Mass.) and former congressman Beto O’Rourke (Tex.) — said Wednesday that they consider President Trump to be a white supremacist, an extraordinary charge against a sitting president.
Both White House hopefuls shared their comments on a day when Trump visited two cities mourning mass shootings, including El Paso, where the gunman who killed 22 people appeared to have written an essay echoing Trump’s disparaging language about immigration.
The New York Times reported that Warren, when asked in a brief interview if she believes Trump is a white supremacist, replied “yes” without hesitation.
“He has given aid and comfort to white supremacists,” Warren said during a campaign stop in Council Bluffs, Iowa. “He’s done the wink and a nod. He has talked about white supremacists as fine people. He’s done everything he can to stir up racial conflict and hatred in this country.”
O’Rourke was asked during an interview on MSNBC on Wednesday if he considers Trump to be a white supremacist.
“He is,” O’Rourke replied. “He’s also made that very clear. He’s dehumanized or sought to dehumanize those who do not look like or pray like the majority here in this country. . . . He’s been clear who he wants to keep out with walls and cages and militarization and torture and cruelty.”
Man, this guy just gets worse and worse. Even the Democrats are onto him, aware that he’s an empty suit that will take years more of experience to fill. He’s nowhere in the polls. What a pandering idiot.
Below are a few of your favorite white supremacists. Evil people, to be sure. Probably Trump fans.
Man, it must be tough to be a white guy in the Democratic Party running for president.
I’ve even seen Pete Buttigieg, who’s a white married gay man, accused of being “privileged.” Whatever you think of homosexuality or gay marriage, I don’t think it’s particularly easy being gay.
Anyway, this below is painful to watch, as O’Rourke grovels after saying he was “born” to run for president. ” I was attempting to say that I felt that my calling is a public service,” he said.
No he wasn’t. He was saying the same thing Barack Obama said years ago at the outset of he 2008 campaign, when Obama said something to the effect of, “I can play in this league.” He was bragging, full of himself. Not discussing “public service.”
Beto also apologized for being white, for being a man, etc., etc.
I mean, is this worth it? And of course, it begs the inevitable question, If you are privileged, is it fair that you are running for president at all?
So Beto is going to fight illegal immigration with a carbon tax, I guess.
I mean, and these people think President Trump is insane, and they blame climate change for people surging to the Mexican border. Beto also warns, “wait until some countries in the Western Hemisphere can no longer support human life.”
Seriously? The temperature might go up a couple of degrees and life comes to an end in Guatemala?
Democratic presidential candidate Beto O’Rourke said climate change is a reason so many Central American migrants arriving at the U.S.-Mexico border.
“There were 400,000 apprehensions at our border with Mexico last year. As you know, many of them were kids – kids who, if they were lucky, showed up with their parents,” O’Rourke, a former Texas congressman who represented El Paso, said at a campaign stop Thursday in Salem, N.H. “But increasingly, we are finding that those who are arriving are farmers from Honduras who are trying to plant what used to grow but does not any longer because they, too, are in historic droughts and cannot feed themselves.
“If you think 400,000 is bad, wait until some countries in the Western Hemisphere can no longer support human life, because that is the direction we are headed,” O’Rourke said.
Beto O’Rourke, former Texas congressman and Democratic presidential hopeful, compared President Trump’s comments on immigration to language used in Nazi Germany at a campaign event in Iowa.
“When the president of the United States has called Mexican immigrants ‘rapists’ and ‘criminals.’ He then went on to call asylum seekers ‘animals’ and an ‘infestation,’” said O’Rourke.
“Now we would not be surprised if in the Third Reich other human beings were described as an infestation, as a cockroach or a pest that you would want to kill. But to do that in 2017 or ‘18 in the United States of America, doesn’t make sense,” added O’Rourke.
Well, he’s not qualified, he’s an overgrown child, and he strikes me as a phony. But he’s well on the way toward being nominated by the Democrats to run for president. According to the Washington Examiner: Former Rep. Beto O’Rourke, D-Texas, got more bang for his buck after announcing his run for president than his 2020 Democratic… Continue Reading
This is where most of the Democrats are going. They are so afraid of their base that they have to agree with lefty former Rep. Beto O’Rourke, who smells strongly of insincerity and tells everyone we should be tearing down a portion of the border wall. Does he actually believe that? Who knows. I think… Continue Reading
