One of the women who harangued Republican Arizona Sen. Jeff Flake as they refused to let his elevator door close is a top professional agitator whose salary is nearly $178,000, not the random outraged citizen many no doubt assumed her to be.
Ana Maria Archila, a Colombia-born sexual-assault victim, is co-executive director of the Center for Popular Democracy. Her salary, according to a recent Internal Revenue Service 990 form, included $156,333 in regular pay and a bonus of $21,378, according to a piece in the Wall Street Journal.
Archila’s group receives significatn funding from leftist financier George Soros, according to reports.
In the video below, Archila is the woman with dark hair on the right side of the screen standing directly in the way of the elevator door.
It would appear she earned her salary that day. Flake soon after caved to the left and said his final vote to support the nomination of Brett Kavanaugh to the Supreme Court would be contingent on an FBI investigation of the assault allegations against Kavanaugh.
Republicans relented, but the investigation turned up nothing new and Flake helped vote Kavanaugh onto the Court.
