Witnesses set for first House impeachment hearing Thursday

So what if Biden was only offering pleasantries on the phone and during meetings with Hunter’s unsavory foreign business associates? He was still peddling to foreigners the influence that Hunter, his very presence a signal that Hunter could use him to make things happen. He knew that.

According to the Washington Examiner:

The House Oversight Committee’s first impeachment inquiry hearing on Thursday will include three witnesses specializing in forensic accounting and tax law who will break down the information the committee has already publicly released.

The witnesses include Bruce Dubinsky, a forensic accountant with 40 years of experience, Eileen O’Connor, a former assistant attorney general in the Department of Justice’s tax division, and Johnathon Turley, the Shapiro Chair for Public Interest Law at George Washington University Law School.

“Thousands of pages of financial records, emails, texts, testimony from credible IRS whistleblowers, and a transcribed interview with Biden family business associate Devon Archer all reveal that Joe Biden allowed his family to sell him as ‘the brand’ around the world to enrich the Biden family. Joe Biden showed up on at least two dozen occasions to send signals of access, influence, and power to those who were paying the Bidens,” Oversight Chairman James Comer (R-KY) said in a statement. “This week, the House Oversight Committee will present evidence uncovered to date and hear from legal and financial experts about crimes the Bidens may have committed as they brought in millions at the expense of U.S. interests.”

  1. Just the facts, m’aam, just the facts.
Boring as it may seem, the truth will be revealed in the bank records and transactions.

One area interests me: How do the Biden’s pay for all their homes expenses, including maintenance, insurance, utilities, repairs, real estate taxes? What account dispenses those payments and how is that account funded?

    Simple question, but revealing.

    1. I remember many years ago how Slo-Joe was always saying/crying how poor he was and could barely hang onto his house as a poor Senator, etc. This house he referred to then was not one of the large homes they have now. Yes, it will be interesting to see how they pay for all they have accumulated in recent years.
