Oh no! Tim Scott’s radical vision for America

Yes, that’s a joke.

From a fundraising email by Republican presidential candidate Sen. Tim Scott of South Carolina:

I’m about to say something really controversial in Joe Biden’s America.

If you’re able-bodied, you work.
If you take out a loan, you pay it back.
And if you commit a violent crime, you go to jail.
And if you’re a man, you should play sports against men.

America needs more victors and less victims.

Incredibly, he’s right, this is all deeply controversial. But these very facts are why Republicans will continue to support Donald Trump, not Scott, despite Thursday’s indictment. They think he is the only one who can ensure we return to these simple principles.
