50 yrs ago, people would chuckle and let this slide.
Not now, not with our wokeness and thin skin.
I am half Irish, and was not initially offended at all. Just ole Joe making a funny.
As young people and even now, we kid each other and we all laugh out loud.
But then I thought, wait a minute, this comes from a man who lives woke, professes woke, bows down to wokeness.
Would it be funny if he said something off key about Asians, Migrants or people of color?
It reminds me of a scene from Blazing Saddles that I should not retype here.
