  1. Did you recall being in class with the substitute teacher?
    This is exactly what it sounds like.
    The kids rant on as they know the sub has no power, no clue, and the sub will be gone soon.
    I went to Catholic elementary school. When the teacher-nun was out, we got some poor soul to fill in… it was a hay day of outbursts, mischief, no rules, no accounting for bad behavior and no respect for the sub.
    Wait: this sounds vaguely familiar.
