In the history of mankind, many republics have risen, have flourished for a less or greater time, and then have fallen because their citizens lost the power of governing themselves and thereby of governing their state. TR

Biden questions legitimacy of 2022 elections

So, when Donald Trump questions elections, it’s a national emergency. But President Biden undermines democracy by not saying the 2022 vote will be legitimate, and nobody cares.

From Wednesday’s White House press conference:

REPORTER: Speaking of voting rights legislation, if this isn’t passed, do you still believe the upcoming election will be fairly conducted and its results will be legitimate?

BIDEN: Well, it all depends on whether or not we’re able to make the case to the American people that some of this is being set up to try to alter the outcome of the election. And it’s one thing — look, maybe I’m just being too much of an optimist. Remember how we thought not that many people were going to show up to vote in the middle of a pandemic? We had the highest voter turnout in the history of the United States of America.

Well, I think if, in fact — no matter how hard they make it for minorities to vote, I think you’re going to see them willing to stand in line and — and defy the attempt to keep them from being able to vote. I think you’re going to see the people who they’re trying to keep from being able to show up, showing up and making the sacrifice that needs to make in order to change the law back to what it should be.

Thursday, morning, during an appearance on NBC’s Today Show, Vice President Harris declined an opportunity to say Biden was mistaken.

  1. Back to the same old story of how the white man makes sure minorities can’t vote. Guess its too much to ask to show a free ID to be able to vote. Basically, if I don’t win, it’s illegitimate. What a demented old fool.

  2. Stupid fool should be in a memory care unit. Biden and the Party are only in charge because of massive voter fraud in six key states with the help of corrupt government and the MSM.

  3. There are so many things “wrong” about Biden’s moronic answer, where do you start?

“Well, it all depends on whether or not we’re able to make the case to the American people that some of this is being set up to try to alter the outcome of the election” –Never mind whether or not there’s any reason to suspect foul play, much less whether it actually took place, we only want to produce some so-called “evidence” in the kangaroo court of the MSM. Whatever happened to “truth” or “honesty”? I guess it makes sense, because the left mob is the Dems’ comfy throne, with the MSM filtering all incoming and outgoing information… Never mind the constitution or court of law, or even common sense.

Can we have a Donald Trump without the odd habit of his enjoyment of offending people? A Ronald Reagan on steroids would be ideal.

  4. I’ve lived in Illinois, Arizona and Oklahoma, so I’ve voted in many state and national elections. NOT ONCE have I witnessed anyone being denied the right to vote, I’ve waited in line to vote behind blacks, Hispanics, Asians, American Indians and whites.

    1. Same here. I’ve lived and always voted in Missouri, Illinois, Massachusetts, New York, and Arkansas where we’re retired. Here we personally are acquainted, even close friends with poll workers. We still have to show a photo ID.

  5. The Dems know they’re going to lose big in November, so they’re just laying the groundwork now to blame the loss on those big, bad Republican states and their “racist” new election laws.

  6. The Dems are not going to lose. They will steal it just like they did in 2020. Nothing has changed since 2020. They have even bragged about how they “fortified” the elections. Nothing has happened to stop that in future elections. They will just get better at stealing elections.
