Video | Psaki surprised on live TV by bad jobs report, says ‘trends’ are ‘good’

The White House had to spin some much lower-than-expected jobs numbers tor November today, as hiring slowed even before Omicron hits.

Psaki was live on the air Friday when the numbers came out, no doubt to say something nice, whether they were bad or good. Which she did.

So, the Biden economy continues to roar. It’s roaring that it’s in pain and needs help. Or better, less help from Washington.

According to the Wall Street Journal:

Hiring slowed last month amid Covid-19 uncertainties, but people returned to the labor force in droves in a sign the tight labor market could be loosening.

The U.S. economy added a seasonally adjusted 210,000 jobs in November—the smallest gain since last December and a marked slowdown from an upwardly revised increase of 546,000 in October, the Labor Department said Friday. Almost 600,000 people joined the workforce, and the unemployment rate fell to 4.2% from 4.6% . . .

The labor-force participation rate rose to 61.8%, the highest level since March 2020 at the start of the pandemic . . .

Higher wages may be drawing people back into the workforce, economists say. Employers have complained of a shortage of workers and have been raising salaries and offering new benefits to entice new hires.

Average hourly wages were up 4.8% in November from the previous year, roughly on par with October but well above annual growth rates before the pandemic which hovered around 3%.

  1. There is a special place in Hell for this arrogant, lying, stuck-up Jen Psaki.
And all the evil, wicked, anti-American democratic socialist a–holes who serve in this senile Biden regime.

  2. If you’ve ever seen someone try to explain something with no real understanding it can go several ways …. with economics, Jen has shown a complete lack of basic knowledge — she is just saying words — which is what Joe does on many subjects — just talks. That’s her approach and as a spokesperson the — talk talk talk is the plan — the “I dunno — let me circle back (and hope you never follow up on me)” approach seems to have been called out early in the administration so this is her next step. Talk. Say Nothing. Exit room.

I’m not sure about their brains — I think that they think they are smart — when I ‘BS’ on something — like me talking car engines with my son — I’m just glad to be able to get the subject onto the paint job where I am not a complete idiot. I don’t think that Jen/Joe etc really have that feeling of ‘knowing’ that they don’t know what the heck they are talking about.
