In the history of mankind, many republics have risen, have flourished for a less or greater time, and then have fallen because their citizens lost the power of governing themselves and thereby of governing their state. TR

Tens of thousands of Haitians marching toward the US

What a disaster President Biden’s immigration policy is for the country. Even Barack Obama is criticizing him, saying the current strategy is unsustainable.

The Biden administration claims it can stop the hordes of migrants heading to our border by “telling” them not to come.

These people are poor, but not stupid. They know the administration’s body language says otherwise. They get that most of them will get in and be allowed to stay. And so, they are on their way.

According to Fox News:

Nearly 30,000 Haitian migrants have already made their way over the U.S.-Mexico border in recent weeks, but Panama’s foreign minister says far more are on their way – and she has been sounding the alarm for months.

In a new interview with Axios, Foreign Minister Erika Mouynes said that since the beginning of 2021 more than 85,000 Haitians have crossed through Panama and that she believes “they all are heading toward the U.S.”

“We’ve engaged with every single authority that we can think of, that we can come across, to say, ‘Please, let’s pay attention to this,'” Mouynes told the outlet.

The Haitians have been coming from Colombia, traveling through the dangerous Darién Gap jungles into Panama before making their way northward through Central American and Mexico to the U.S. Mouynes said senior officials from South American countries, Mexico, Canada and the U.S. met in August to address the issue, and she thought it was “shocking” that this had not happened sooner.

Mouynes said she also met with members of Congress and DHS Secretary Alejandro Mayorkas earlier this week.

  1. If I were in the shoes of these struggling Haitians, I’d likely do the same thing. Who doesn’t want a better life for their family?! Their desperation sends them north to our border. If we consider this on a micro scale, I’m sure there are homeless individuals in my city who would really like and benefit from living in my home. However, I draw the line there because it would disrupt my family. I am willing, though, to help them get assistance from our local organizations. I am my own Department of Homeland Security. Where’s the United States’ DHS?

    1. Most have no skills and not much of an education, how will they provide for their families over here? The answer to that is welfare, that you, I and millions of Americans pay for. Our government provides economic aid to places like Haiti, Mexico, and Honduras, their governments don’t use the money to help their own citizens, instead the money disappears into the pockets of crooked leaders. We cannot continue this, at some point our country will cease to exist.

  2. In a perfect world this would be the headline:

“Horde of Tens of thousands of illegal Haitians machining towards the US. Landmines ready to be deployed along US border.”
