In the history of mankind, many republics have risen, have flourished for a less or greater time, and then have fallen because their citizens lost the power of governing themselves and thereby of governing their state. TR

Psaki links shooting of girl with a knife to “police violence” against blacks

Wait a second, what is going on here? Why is the White House prejudging this case or suggesting this was a racist shooting.

“Let me just say, since you gave me the opportunity, the killing of 16-year-old Ma’Khia Bryant by the Columbus police is tragic. She was a child,” White House Press Secretary Jen Psaki said Wednesday. “We know that police violence disproportionately impacts Black and Latino people and communities and that Black women and girls like Black men and boys experience higher rates of police violence.

“We also know that there are particular vulnerabilities that children in foster care like Ma’Khia face,” she said. “And her death came . . . just as America was hopeful of a step forward after the traumatic and exhausting trial of Derek Chauvin and the verdict that was reached.”

The girl was attacking people with a knife. Here is the video.

  1. If the child that was about to be stabbed was their daughter, would they take the same stance?
LeBron, would you be happy if the police backed off and the girl with the knife buried it into the other girls chest?
Terrible incident, but lets consider the consequences of inaction

  2. I suppose Psaki and the rest of the Democrats would have been happier if the 16 year old knife wielding brat had plunged the knife into the other girl’s chest. The officer may have saved the other girl’s life.
