Donald Trump had this to say Friday evening in a written statement about Special Counsel John Durham:
“Where’s Durham? Is he a living, breathing human being? Will there ever be a Durham report?”
The Durham investigation into the origins of the FBI “Crossfire Hurricane” probe into “collusion” between the Trump 2016 campaign and Russia has been dragging on for two years.
When you give someone unlimited time and resources, they take unlimited time and use unlimited resources.
That’s the problem with the special counsels. They have no deadline. And so they never stop.
Trump thought this might come out before the election. A regular prosecutor might have had it done by then. And the election might have turned out differently.
