In the history of mankind, many republics have risen, have flourished for a less or greater time, and then have fallen because their citizens lost the power of governing themselves and thereby of governing their state. TR

  1. This is way of topic but want to share. My curiously got the best of me. Yesterday Cut to the News reported a wild sheep in Australia was caught and sheared. The fleece weighed 78 pounds. Here is what a typical sheep produces.

“A sheep can produce between 2 and 30 pounds of wool each year. To put that into perspective, one pound of wool can make up to 10 miles of yarn. In the United States, the average weight of a fleece taken off a sheep is over 7 pounds, but it varies from state to state.”

PS. With the way the Leftists are operating I fell like I am been fleeced.

  2. Good to see the President going to Texas… albeit a tad tardy. I await his off the cuff remarks. Will he insert the word cowboy somewhere. As in, we’re so darn proud of what these Texas cowboys and cowgirls have done to help get them thar windmills spinning again… yee ha.

PS. No daily briefing today? That’s two misses this week? How important are these things if you can skip them multiple times within a week? Hmmmm
