In the history of mankind, many republics have risen, have flourished for a less or greater time, and then have fallen because their citizens lost the power of governing themselves and thereby of governing their state. TR

Top Biden advisor said Covid was “the best thing that ever happened to him”

The entire Biden campaign strategy boiled down to keeping  him from getting sick by staying in the basement and hoping enough people would be unhappy with President Trump’s handling of the coronavirus that Biden would win.

Seems like it worked.

According to the Guardian:

A senior adviser to Democrat Joe Biden in his campaign for president believed “Covid is the best thing that ever happened to him”, a new book reports.

It was, the authors add, a necessarily private comment that “campaign officials believed but would never say in public” as the US reeled from the impact of the pandemic amid hospitals stretched to breaking and with deaths mounting and the economy falling off a cliff.

The remark, made to “an associate” by Anita Dunn, a Washington powerbroker who the Atlantic called “The Mastermind Behind Biden’s No-Drama Approach to Trump”, is reported in Lucky: How Joe Biden Barely Won the Presidency, by Jonathan Allen and Amie Parnes.

The first major book on the 2020 election, a campaign indelibly marked by the coronavirus, will be published next week. The Guardian obtained a copy.

This week, President Biden commemorated the 500,000th US Covid death with solemn ceremony and a request that Americans “remember those we lost and those we left behind”.

  1. The COVID crisis was certainly an opportunity that senile Joe’s handlers exploited to hide senile Joe in his basement during the campaign; however, I don’t believe the hypothesis that the public’s “unhappiness” with President Trump on COVID is what got senile joe into office.

What got biden into office was, not the public’s “unhappiness” with Trump on COVID, rather the massive, well financed, highly organized effort to temper with the ballots to the point where senile Biden would be declared the winner. To this extent, COVID was exploited by using COVID as an excuse to drastically change voting procedures to facilitate maximum voter fraud.

The forthcoming book’s aim is to detract attention on how COVID was exploited to rig the election and to convince the public that it was the public’s “unhappiness” with President Trump on COVID that got senile joe the WHouse. We know better.

  2. Exactly what JG said. Joke didn’t win, Democrats cheated on a massive scale this time around. The only thing that could save Joke Biden in 2024 would be another pandemic of such epic proportions, and I don’t see the American people tolerating another round of this stupidity.

  3. With the great economy for all Americans and no COVID, Trump wins, no question. None of the pandemic lockdowns, school closures, and yes, “necessary” election changes would have happened. Media complicity for four years wasn’t enough to bring him down, but COVID was a daily, hourly, way to criticize and ignore any positive policy outcomes. Those successes are now being noticed, even reported by some MSM outlets. Hopefully by 2024, or even 2022, people will wake up to reality.
