The Establishment strikes back.
Rep. Liz Cheney, R-Wyo., has been under huge pressure from what is now the populist mainstream of the Republican party for being one of ten Republicans to vote to impeach Donald Trump.
And now, Senate Minority Leader Mitch McConnell, who has not rules out voting to convict, is coming to her rescue.
“Liz Cheney is a leader with deep convictions and the courage to act on them,” McConnell said in a statement. “She is an important leader in our party and in our nation. I am grateful for her service and look forward to continuing to work with her on the crucial issues facing our nation.”

I’m so over Mitch McConnell. I’m near his age bracket, but realize it’s a new Republican era!! Get out of the way and don’t be a weak kneed, yellow bellied, lily livered turncoat!
Wyoming won’t defend her . . . she’s toast in two years.
