In the history of mankind, many republics have risen, have flourished for a less or greater time, and then have fallen because their citizens lost the power of governing themselves and thereby of governing their state. TR

Joe Biden says son Hunter won’t be involved in any conflicts of interest

Okay, why didn’t that happen when Biden was vice president? He can’t control his son, it’s obvious.

Hunter Biden and his activities present a threat to national security in that he is bound to get himself into a situation that could lead to a foreign nation bribing the president.

According to the Daily Mail:

“Biden was asked about his son Hunter, who was accused of benefiting from business with Ukrainian and Chinese officials when Biden was vice president.

“He said neither his son nor any family members would not be involved in any conflicts of interest while he sat in the Oval Office.

“‘My son, my family will not be involved in any business, any enterprise, that is in conflict with or appears to be a conflict whether the appropriate distance from the presidency and government,’ he said.”

  1. We’re supposed to believe that Hunter’s activities will be kept in check, just like we’re supposed to believe that Joe won the election fair and square. We’re supposed to take Joe’s word? They’re America hating Leftists who’ll grab power anyway they can by cheating, censorship, threats, blackmail, and lies.

  2. Here’s the thing, most modern Presidents had ‘relative’ problems, families that thought the WhiteHouse was now their vacation home, and perks would flow their way. Some ‘relatives’ were conned or duped into questionable deals that turned ugly. Others were just anxious to make some money while they could.
Like the old saying “you can pick your seat, but you can’t pick your family.
Good luck keeping Hunter on the down-low. lol

  3. Hunter?
I suspect we will never hear anything about him for the next few years, unless he publicly makes a complete arse of himself. Parents often feel guilt when their children turn out to be “crumb buns”. That’s acceptable, but not when Dad is the POTUS. If Biden needs to put his family first, he will need to step down. Oh wait,… could that be the plan?

  4. I’m sure we all would have no problem with President Biden naming his son and his partner as senior advisors in the White House, right?
