In the history of mankind, many republics have risen, have flourished for a less or greater time, and then have fallen because their citizens lost the power of governing themselves and thereby of governing their state. TR

Meadows: White House optimistic Trump will be released from hospital today

President Trump’s medical team will decide late Monday whether to send him home to the White House, according to White House Chief of Starr Mark Meadows.

“His health continues to improve,” Meadows said Monday morning on Fox News. The doctors will actually have an evaluation sometime late morning. And then the president, in consultation with the doctors, will make a decision on whether to discharge him by later today,” he said. “We’re still optimistic that based on his unbelievable progress and how strong he’s been in terms of his fight against this COVID-19 disease, that he will be released. But that decision won’t be made until later today.”

Meadows said he spoke to the president in the morngin and that he is “ready to get back to a normal working schedule.

“His treatment has been remarkable,” Meadows said. “His strength has been incredible.”

  1. Yesterday MSNBC was selling the idea that Trump will still have lingering heath problems. They say the Presidency is the most stressful, demanding 24/7 job in the world.. He won’t have the stamina to carry out the duties.
That is what I’ve been saying about Biden all along. Then again Biden might do an Obama’s feet on the desk routine.

    1. I am a Canadian who loves President Trump and loathes Obama. It drove me crazy every time I saw a picture of Barry with his filthy shoes on the historic Resolute Desk.

  2. The media coverage has been horrible. While I understand there were some communication issues, generally speaking, we were being told what was needed by the medical providers. A stupid question from a reporter – Why wasn’t the President wearing a mask when he was making the video. REALLY! This mask mania is over the top. Don’t have to be a scientist to know that most of us (and I mean most of us), are using our masks in a way that makes them totally ineffective (if they were ever effective in the first place). Up and down, touching them, etc. I can hardly wait for all of this to be over. No consideration for the lack of hospitalizations and really sick people – just shut things down or make the ability to move into a better category (California), contingent upon equality of positive cases. Chill people!
