White House Dossier will not publish today

Good morning.

White House Dossier will not publish today due to another commitment I must fulfill. The website will return tomorrow. My apologies for the inconvenience.

    1. Doesn’t matter.

Grahamnesty is already promising a three ring circus day block of hearings, and we already know damn well where THAT will descend to; whereupon the usual squishes will wimp out, with all the predictability of a Japanese train schedule. (Note 1)

If you thought the last batch of SCOTUS confirmation hearings were an excrement exhibition, well, you ain’t seen nothing yet. B-b-b-baby, you just ain’t seen n-n-nothing yet. Yes, you will now have that tune stuck in your head for hours; no, I’m not sorry. :P

Grahamnesty and Cocaine Mitch really needed to go full “You get nothing! You lose! Good day, sir!” on the Democrats. (Note 2)

Instead, they’re going full Marquess of Queensberry, while the Democrats are doing their best impression of Chong Li in “Bloodsport.”

I really hope I’m wrong in thinking these proposed hearings are designed to be a political Judas’ kiss.

      1. Yes, they really are that punctual, almost freakishly so.

      2. Interesting trivia on that scene: Peter Ostrum’s reaction at 0:57 was genuine. During rehearsal, Gene Wilder played the scene as disappointed and conciliatory; it was only on camera, when he suddenly played it angry.
