Trump says he often regrets tweets

President Trump said in an interview with Barstool Sports that he “often, too often” regrets tweets he sends out.

“It used to be in the old days, before this, you’d write a letter, and you’d say, ‘This letter is really bad,'” he said in a video tweet by Barstool sports Friday. “You’d put it in your desk, and you go back tomorrow, and you say, ‘Oh, I’m glad I didn’t send it.’ Right? But we don’t do that with Twitter,” he said.

“We put it out instantaneously. We feel great, and then you start getting phone calls, ‘Did you really say this?'” he said. He added that it was” not the tweets, it’s the retweets that get you in trouble.”

  1. Yep Once in a while we post or email or tweet a comment in haste….and then aw crap, that was not right…. The President should pause his SEND button more…. as carpenters say, measure twice, cut once. We could all be a bit more cautious by pausing and saying, wait, is this really what I want to convey…
