  1. After a discussion about current events, I realized that I have lived to see the ’68+ Vietnam protests, Woodstock, race riots in LA, Ohio State, and on to the silly Wall St protests, the Ferguson/Baltimore riots and it’s all so familiar. Civil rights demonstrations, women’s rights, LBGT parades and it all seems so commonplace.
What struck us during the conversations was that most Americans were too involved in working, raising families, football/Little League games and family events to even consider marching on the street shouting slogans.
The participants in this Seattle , um, event might think they are leading a revolution, but in reality they are just more smug, privileged people who think they are important.

    1. This is what we get after decades of:
      1) Inability of parents to teach their children that “no” is sometimes a proper answer to them
      2) So-called leaders constantly telling people that government is responsible for their financial and health well-being
      3) Lack of education on personal responsibility
      4) “Tolerance” slowly becoming “intolerance”
      5) Loss of teaching critical and independent thinking skills
      6) Loss of respect for history
      7) Constant campaign from the left that “the man” is holding people down

I think this might get rough.
