In the history of mankind, many republics have risen, have flourished for a less or greater time, and then have fallen because their citizens lost the power of governing themselves and thereby of governing their state. TR

McEnany: Rename Biden Welcome Center because he helped segregationists?

White House press secretary Kayleigh McEnany defended President Trump’s decision not to strike the names of Confederate generals from military bases, questioning whether others, including Joe Biden, should have their names removed from places that commemorate them.

Where do you draw the line here?” McEnany said. “I’m told that no longer can you find, on HBO, Gone with the Wind, because somehow that is now offensive. Where do you draw the line? Should George Washington and Thomas Jefferson and James Madison be erased from history. What about FDR and his internment camps?

What about people that are alleged by the media to be segregationists? NBC tells us Joe Biden didn’t just compromise with segregationists, he fought for their causes in schools, experts say. CNN tells us letters from Joe Biden reveal how he sought support of segregationists in the fight against busing … There are several more where that came from. So, I’ll leave you with the question, “Should we then rename the Biden Welcome Center?”

The Biden Welcome Center, and some of you will find this appropriate, is a toilet house on I-95 in Delaware.

  1. “The Biden Welcome Center, and some of you will find this approprite, is a toilet house on I-95 in Delaware.”

Now, you’re talkin’! We have hundreds of such places along the interstates here in Michigan. I think it would be fitting to name them after our governor, Gretchen Whitmer. It could give rise to new colloquialisms, such as: “Pull into the next rest stop. I’ve got use the ‘whitter!'” and “I just don’t give a whit!”

  2. I love the way she just walks away;) And by the way, where was the man questioning her and his mask? Masks are the new political statement.
