President Trump, who recently met at Mar-a-Lago with Brazilian officials who have the coronavirus, announced Saturday that he has been tested for the disease.
From the White House pool report:
The president said from the podium that he had his temperature taken coming into the room and that he had been tested for the coronavirus.
As the president was leaving the press briefing room at 12:37 pm EDT he turned back to answer shouted questions about his own temperature. He said just before he exited that it was “totally normal.”
The president entered the room 12:21 in a navy blue baseball cap with “USA” on the front in white lettering and “TRUMP” on the back, “45” on one side, and an American flag on the other, wearing a navy blue suit jacket. He delivered a statement, and then he took some questions from reporters.
