In the history of mankind, many republics have risen, have flourished for a less or greater time, and then have fallen because their citizens lost the power of governing themselves and thereby of governing their state. TR

Trump’s Joe Biden Strategy: Focus on his Diminishing Mental Capacities

President Trump is smartly targeting Joe Biden, definitely still a potential general election opponent, with comments about his ability to wrap his brain around the presidency.

Biden often doesn’t seem to know where he is or what day it is. Literally, having referring to “Super Tuesday” as “Super Thursday.” Well, Thursday may turn out to be a great day, but it doesn’t appear that’s what he meant . . .

Putting Biden in the Oval Office is a scary prospect. He is obviously not that man he was even a few years ago. Who knows if he’s going to get that 3 am phone call and try speaking into the earpiece?

For all of Trump’s supposed instability, a lot of his foreign policy has been restrained and reasonable. Biden, even compared to Trump, is a crapshoot.

The president was hammering this theme Monday night during a rally in Charlotte, North Carolina.

According to the New York Times:

He gleefully repeated recent misstatements by Mr. Biden, including his confusion over names and states, his statement that he was a candidate for the Senate, his reference to Tuesday’s primaries as ‘Super Thursday’ and his head-spinning comment that 150 million Americans have been killed by guns since 2007.

“That means 50 percent of our country!” Mr. Trump said of the gun comment. “That’s a big story!” “Sleepy Joe,” Mr. Trump continued, “he doesn’t even know where he is or what he’s doing or what office he’s running for. Honestly, I don’t think he knows what office he’s running for.”

If Mr. Biden won the presidency, Mr. Trump said, his staff would actually do the governing. “They’re going to put him into a home, and other people are going to be running the country,” the president said, “and they’re going to be super-left, radical crazies. And Joe’s going to be in a home and he’ll be watching television.”

Can this guy be president?

  1. Crazy Bernie, ol’ Joe, and Creepy Bloomberg:
    What a choice for Dems this year.
    Biden should be pulled out by his family. Any reason will do – illness, fatigued, doesn’t matter.
    Crazy Bernie isn’t even a Dem and has no intention of changing his registration.
    Creepy Bloomberg with his pulled-lip Grinch-smile is scary.
    My mail-in ballot is sitting on the desk – who to vote for in the AZ Dem primary when none of them seem suitable is troubling.

      1. Nah, been a Dem since 1965.
        ’65, when Dems worried about working men and women, believed in God, considered abortion a sin and a crime, etc.
        Now, I’m just a thorn in their side, voting for losers in the Primary and Repubs in the General election.

  2. And this is the best that they have….

    Bernie or Bloomberg is a disaster…

    Watch the polling numbers…
    Minnesota, New Hamshire, Nevada — Trump will win even bigger than last time.

    I would not want to be on the stage in a debate with Trump — and with B, B or B… this series of debates is going to need a parental warning before the broadcast. It is going to be brutal for the left.

  3. So, if you’re keeping score at home, they’re down to:

    One candidate who they probably hope doesn’t get lost on his way to the nursing home;

    One candidate who they probably wish had gotten lost on his honeymoon in the USSR;

    And one candidate who’s a plutocratic Johnny-come-lately, who they hope and wish would simply, full stop, get lost.
