In the history of mankind, many republics have risen, have flourished for a less or greater time, and then have fallen because their citizens lost the power of governing themselves and thereby of governing their state. TR

Judge Orders Hillary Clinton to Sit for Deposition on Private Email Server

You remember, the server in the Clinton’s bathroom – or somewhere in Chappaqua – that she used for government business, that was hacked, and for which she incurred no consequences?

According to Fox News:

A federal judge Monday granted a request from conservative watchdog group Judicial Watch to have former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton sit for a sworn deposition to answer questions about her use of a private email server to conduct government business.

Clinton has argued that she has already answered questions about this and should not have to do so again — the matter did not result in any charges for the then-presidential candidate in 2016 after a high-profile investigation — but D.C. District Court Judge Royce C. Lamberth said in his ruling that her past responses left much to be desired.

“As extensive as the existing record is, it does not sufficiently explain Secretary Clinton’s state of mind when she decided it would be an acceptable practice to set up and use a private server to conduct State Department business,” Lamberth said.

The judge went on to recognize that while Clinton responded to written questions in a separate case, “those responses were either incomplete, unhelpful, or cursory at best. Simply put her responses left many more questions than answers.”

  1. If there was a chance that justice would prevail, which would mean prison time for HRC and the whole Obama administration (haha!!), I would support this latest move. However, nothing but a waste of taxpayer money will likely be the result.

  2. She’ll likely plead faulty memory. “Oh, that was just so long ago” will be the most common response. Then, the classic “At this point, what difference does it make?”

  3. Hillary will employ her lifelong tactic when confronted by the arm of Justice: she’ll forget, obfuscate, deny, prevaricate, falsify, be mendacious, deceive and perjure herself. And much of the corporate press will support her “testimony”. We’ve seen this movie many times.

  4. We already know exactly how this ends.

Twenty-odd years ago, this scenario was the stuff of comedy.

Today, it is naught but a pointless, played-out farce, just more and more panem et circenses for the amusement of our atrocious aristocracy, and the delectation of the droves of dumbed-down dunderheads that enable the same.

  5. Give it a go judge, make the hag squirm a bit. Like the other comments given, I have no faith that anything meaningful will come of this deposition. She has 75 days to comply, what could go wrong?
