In the history of mankind, many republics have risen, have flourished for a less or greater time, and then have fallen because their citizens lost the power of governing themselves and thereby of governing their state. TR

New Poll Has Trump Approval at 49 Percent

This video breaks down the new poll by The Hill and HarrisX, which equals the highest rating President Trump has had in more than a year and comes directly after Democrats made their case for impeachment.

One of the most surprising things is that 47 percent of those 18-34 back the president. This suggests young people are hardly reflexively against him, as many presume, and that there is a future for Trumpism, which I define as a populist-nationalist version of conservatism.

  1. I’ve been defining myself as a “Trump American” when surveys ask my political party.

The high support from 18-34 year olds is good news. I also imagine that those younger people are not so helpless as the media on both sides of the aisle would have us believe.

I don’t know a lot of young people, but I’ve noticed that those I do know who are 35 to 45, a majority are vastly supportive of Trump.

  2. Folks… When you have the Democrats giving reasons for you not to like them…

Help me out… remind me of some of the just plain stupid Democrat things…
    1. Letting anyone into our country
    2. Boys using Girls bathrooms if they say they are girls
    3. When someone bad shoots people then going after the guns of good people.

  3. If I’m not mistaken, that approval rating is higher than Obama/The Chosen One. Guess trying to impeach the man on fake charges will boost his ratings. Who would have thought?

  4. Keith – I went to Amazon to buy your book, but I don’t have a Kindle. Wanted you to know that I tried. I think I need a copy I can write in, at any rate, because this is going to be a guidebook if Barr gets going on the investigations that we need.
