In the history of mankind, many republics have risen, have flourished for a less or greater time, and then have fallen because their citizens lost the power of governing themselves and thereby of governing their state. TR

Greta Thunberg Mocks Trump Twitter Attack

Well, of course, Greta Thunberg should not be Time’s Person of the Year. She is a child with a disability being used by others for their purposes.

President Trump went after her in personal terms, which I thought was kind of crappy.

I have to admit, her response was pretty clever. She almost immediately updated her Twitter profile.

  1. There’s an old saying ’round these parts; walk where the bull walks and you’ll step in bullstuff. If she wants to dish it out (or her handlers do for her) get ready to take the consequences.

  2. Person of the Year?
This child is a tool used by adults to promote a ridiculous theme. Time magazine used this child to create controversy – it worked.
Adults don’t take kindly to smarty-pants 12 yr olds telling them what to do or blaming them for things beyond their control.

  3. Please elaborate what is crappy about Trump’s tweet. You must be hanging around the “journalists” at the White House again.

We look to you for reality, this isn’t that.

    1. I agree. Keith — the President suggests this child act like a child. I would have left her alone, but she and her handlers have dumped plenty of cr*p in their turn, so much expect some hostility.

  4. ‘Time magazine’ has gone the way of ‘Tiger Beat’ or ‘Time for Kids’, appealing to the 5th grade celebrity-fad mentality- or maybe it’s more like the magazines geared to fantasy games enthusiasts. That’s all commercial media is when it’s not subverting or perverting or laundering our minds.

  5. You think her response was clever? I only wish it was true and that she was getting the medical help that she needs instead of being used like a puppet by adults.
