In the history of mankind, many republics have risen, have flourished for a less or greater time, and then have fallen because their citizens lost the power of governing themselves and thereby of governing their state. TR

Biden Advisor Blames Media for Covering His Bloopers

I mean, they’re just starting to pick up on it. They’ve been covering every error and misstatement President Trump has made for four years. Eagerly.

Joe Biden’s problem is not the media. Biden’s problem is that he’s not all there anymore. And that’s a very serious problem, especially if advisors like the one quoted in the story below can hide it long enough to get him to the nomination.

Which I doubt they can.

According to the Washington Examiner:

A top adviser to Joe Biden, the 2020 Democratic front-runner, has said he is being held to a higher standard than his rivals.

MSNBC’s Andrea Mitchell played a video of a recent flub in which Biden, 76, said he was happy to be in the state of Vermont when he was actually in neighboring New Hampshire.

“So I know it’s just a mistake, but it’s Vermont and New Hampshire, he’s running in the New Hampshire primary. Does he have to be more careful to prove that he hasn’t lost his fastball?” Mitchell asked.

Kate Bedingfield, his communications director, replied, “I think the press has to be more careful about applying an unfair standard to Joe Biden than they’re applying to other candidates. If you listen to what the candidates say all day as they’re out campaigning, they’re out in front of cameras, they’re in front of people, they’re talking all day. Everybody’s going to slip up and misstate a name or a date or a location. It happens all the time.”

  1. Think of our brain as the hard drive. Add 76+ years of data, two or more major glitches, and some data is scrambled, some is missing.
There is no reboot that works.

It’s time for ol’ Joe to shut it down.

  2. It’s interesting that some decades ago, Biden could run on his moderate, statesman-like, considered, silver-haired-wisdom (self-created) image and the sluice of news would be so narrow that it would work. Newspapers with limited space, or that took a week to circulate to the back country would not be able to report every gaffe and blunder.

Now, it can’t be hidden. I think Joe was up for “his turn” a la Hillary, but is making too many mistakes and the Dem powers that be want someone else. Good-bye,Joe, blunder off into the sunset.

But who is the Dem Powers Chosen One? I’m betting Warren. She has the genitals to be the first female Prez and the Dems will need those “I voted this way because the candidate shares a physical characteristic with me” poisonous votes.
