Trump Mexico Tariff Threat Begins to Get Results

I love listening to all the people in Washington whining that President Trump isn’t deploying tariffs for their “proper” use. When will they understand that Trump was not sent to Washington for business as usual?

And that he was sent to stop the unlimited illegal immigration — and maybe some legal immigration to — cascading into the country.

According to the Washington Examiner:

Mexico apprehended about 1,000 migrants after President Trump threatened to slap tariffs on the country over its lax border policies.

About 200 Mexican military police intercepted the caravan walking north along a highway in southern Mexico on Wednesday, according to the Associated Press. The migrants told officers they planned to travel to the U.S. and claim asylum.

Some migrants resisted and others fled into the forest on either side of the highway, but the vast majority of those in the caravan complied with orders from Mexican officials. Hundreds of migrants agreed to go to a migrant detention center.

At the detention center, the migrants will be processed and, if needed, be transported back to their home countries.

The mass arrest comes days before Trump plans to place 5% tariff on all Mexican imports.

  1. They talk about the higher prices Americans will have to pay, jobs lost, this outfit will be hurt, that outfit will be hurt hurt, etc. but they never talk about is how much the invasion of illegals is costing us all. It is an invasion! About 150,000 took part in the Normandy Invasion. Border Patrol is catching 130,000-140,000 every month.

    • Bullseye! This ‘situation’ completely negates America’s WWII war effort. It is strange that following WWII, the U.S. has gone down the drain in all respects to the point where it should be renamed for what it now espouses: deviant, antiChrist, 3rd world communism.

  2. There are claims that about 1 million illegal aliens invaded our country in the last 12 months.
Where are they going? What city has empty rooms for them?
IMO – Hit’em hard and hit’em again and again.

    • They are being house in work bunkhouses by those who employee illegals, being squeezed into the bedroom with other members of a family set on all getting her and receiving citizenship by amnesty, or they are shacking up with stupid Americans and producing squads of anchor babies to wave when the need arises.

  3. If they are refugees they are required to claim asylum in the first nation into which they migrate, no pick a dream destination and hold off on asylum claims until they get there.

If this UN requirement was followed, you can bet migrants will stop crossing into Mexico. They might actually get asylum and have to stay there!

On the other hand, we’d better beef up the Coast Guard because they will be coming by boat.
