As of now, I am in control here, in the White House

White House Quietly Preparing to Fill Ginsburg’s Seat

Nah, she’s indestructible. But just in case . . .

According to the Daily Caller:

Quiet preparations are underway within conservative legal circles and the White House counsel’s office in the event that Supreme Court Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg retires, two sources familiar with the process tell The Daily Caller.

The 85-year-old Ginsburg did not appear for oral arguments at the Supreme Court on Monday, missing the first session in her 25 years on the court for reasons of ill health. Ginsburg is currently recuperating from recent surgery to remove cancerous nodules from her lungs, marking her third bout with the disease.

I honestly hope there’s no snickering about this in the press. Because every news website has pre-written her obituary by now, I guarantee it.

  1. She is pretty tough. The late Anthony Scalia said she was his favorite justice. I bet they had some lively discussions/debates.

President Trump had joked some time ago he would nominate Hillary that way she could be fully vetted by the sub committee.

  2. You thought the Kavanaugh hearing was rough. Wait till Trump gets a third Supreme Court nominee. The liberals/progressives will melt down in a show the world has never been seen. Nominate a qualified, conservative woman and let the fun begin.

  3. We can live and survive with a like-minded justice if MissRuthie decides (or it’s decided for her) to retire from the Court.
I nominate Barack H. Obama for the next justice.
    The ‘vetting’ should be enlightening.

    • Good God that would be fun. He came out of nowhere and has no history. He did carry a Koran to school in Indonesia and wore a government issued uniform.
