In the history of mankind, many republics have risen, have flourished for a less or greater time, and then have fallen because their citizens lost the power of governing themselves and thereby of governing their state. TR

McCain Undercuts President With Direct Tweet to U.S. Allies

Sen. John McCain Sunday undercut President Trump with a tweet aimed at allies who are sore that Trump refused to sign the G-7 joint statement

Trump, in fact, is doing exactly the kind of thing he was elected to do.

But McCain knows something about public opinion. It’s what kept him out of the White House and put Trump in it.

  1. 18 USC Section 953:

“Any citizen of the United States, wherever he may be, who, without authority of the United States, directly or indirectly commences or carries on any correspondence or intercourse with any foreign government or any officer or agent thereof, with intent to influence the measures or conduct of any foreign government or of any officer or agent thereof, in relation to any disputes or controversies with the United States, or to defeat the measures of the United States, shall be fined under this title or imprisoned not more than three years, or both.”

    Just sayin’.

  2. How sad it must be to be told and believe that you are dying and you want so desperately to be noticed. And your time is running out. I can only feel sorry for a person in that situation.

      1. Eh, I think it’s real. Karma…and he would need a good makeup artist to give him the deathly ill & thin demeanor.
And he still has no neck.

  3. McCan’t left out a few important words in his final paragraph, [REAL] “Americans [DON’T] stand with you, [AS] our president doesn’t.”

I’m sorry, I never thought I say this about him and I’ll probably draw lots of criticism but, here goes.

I wish his well wishers would spread lots of banana peels around his bed, since he already has one foot in the grave, and put him and my beloved country out of their respective miseries.

  4. Sadly… McCain is trying to be the maverick…but compared to Trump he was more like a carnival pony.

BTW, note how Mr. McCain has no regard for protocol, chain of command and other selfish actions. Sure, at the end of one’s life there is a desire to have meaning – McCain had many opportunity and regrettably for him he did not fully capitalize them.

President of the United States of America is not President of the Club of World Politicians. Trump truly understands that his allegiance is not to other countries, or uranium deals or other items……

What so history next week in NOKO…. but look in the right spots as even walking on water for the MSM will be viewed as a failure.

    Enjoy this time in America.

  5. And now we have Megan spewing on the View about Daddy. Silver spooned kids get their right of passage as others continue to take it in the shorts! No more Megan the elite days are quickly coming to an end!

    1. Fake news and everyone believes……as seen on TV !
Stop believing the propaganda given out by MSM……..
BHO made it legal to lie. So goes the MSM.

    2. “Sadly… McCain is trying to be the maverick…but compared to Trump he was more like a carnival pony. ”

This is simply the most succinctly made comment I have read all week

  6. John McCain doesn’t speak for “America” or it’s citizens. He doesn’t even represent the thinking or hopes of the people who elected him to serve in the US Senate.

  7. Sorry. I don’t know how we did it, but Arizona managed to elect two US Senators who are whiny, miserable, sore loser, big mouthed, almost un-American in their rambling hatred of our President.

  8. John McCain! Please stay off your tweeter account and go away, please! Sad day for our country and Arizona. Just think what people think and feel about your crappy mouth. You have lost your mind.

  9. If McCain is unable to show up in DC and do his job representing the people of Arizona, for the last six months and counting, then he has no right to keep tweeting and releasing statements as he’s been doing several times a week. I’m sick and tired of him. A selfish, petty, bitter man who refuses to retire and give the people of AZ a voice and a vote in the Senate deserves NO respect, as far as I’m concerned.
