President Trump Friday announced that he will meet with North Korean dictator Kim Jong-un June 12 in Singapore.
Trump, who spoke with reporters at the White House, said the meeting would be part of a “process” and that he didn’t expect all issues to be resolved during a single session. “It’s going to have to be a process, but relationships are building, and that’s a very good thing, he said. “I’ve never said it happens in one meeting.”
Trump said he was bullish about the process. “I think you’re going to have a very positive result in the end. We will see what we will see.” He promised to be thorough in dismantling North Korea’s nuclear program. “We are going to make sure when this is over, it’s over,” Trump said,
