Video || Joy Behar Apologizes Publicly to Mike Pence

On Hannity last night, Vice President said that Joy Behar had apologized to him privately for demeaning his Christian faith but added that she should do so publicly too.

So today, she did:

“I think Vice President Pence is right. I was raised to respect everyone’s religious faith, and I fell short of that. I sincerely apologize for what I said.”

That’s what I would call a proper apology. Not a typical Washington or celebrity apology, which starts something like “If anyone was offended by what I said . . . ”

This apology was direct. And probably sincere, although the issue was getting very bad for her and she certainly had plenty of professional incentive to reel this one back in.

Here’s what she originally said, at about the 3:05 mark.

  1. Listening to a fanatic leftist loudmouth like Behar apologize for insulting other people is so rare an occasion, that I become immediately suspicious about the sincerity or motivation of the apology. But, for now, I’ll take her apology as more or less sincere and leave it at that.

  2. Joyless Behar’s apology is based on money. Disney Corp CEO was grilled about her comment at the annual shareholder’s meeting. We all know crap rolls down hill. Then her pal Oprah said she talked to God about decisions and not a peep out of Joyless. Don’t think the double standard went unnoticed. ABC and Disney told her to publicly apologize or take a hike.
