In the history of mankind, many republics have risen, have flourished for a less or greater time, and then have fallen because their citizens lost the power of governing themselves and thereby of governing their state. TR

As Pelosi Drones on About Dreamers, Rep. Matsui Begins Her Own Dream

House Minority Leader Nancy Pelosi put a member of her caucus to sleep today on the House floor reading what we White House reporrers used to call “sob stories” – actual examples of people affected by a policy – involving Dreamers.

Rep. Doris Matsui of California was either stupified into unconsciousness by Pelosi’s remarks or was seeking to make a dramatic point about dreaming. You decide.

She passes out of a state of wakefulness at 0:04 – 0:19 and then again at 1:35 – 2:15

  1. I can’t click it open, but I can testify that watching anything on C-span puts me to sleep.
Poor Nancy, she gets no respect. tsk stk.

    1. And the people murdered by illegal aliens had dreams too.
But their lives and dreams were cut short, sacrificed on the Dem’s altar of open borders and diversity.

  2. “If a tree falls in a forest and no one is around to hear it, does it make a sound?” LIkewise, if Pelosi is chin wagging in the House and no one is listening or paying any attention….

  3. A core nut? Is that what she said when she answered her own rhetorical question?
I think the Alzheimer’s meds are starting to work.

  4. Why is this old hag allowed out of the house? How is it the dreamers come before my children? Either in education opportunities or jobs? How sad and outrageous a political party would pick the side that doesn’t belong vs the American citizen.

  5. Oh, come on, “Crumbs” Pelosi is an inspiration to us all! ‘Best speech ever,’ say Dems who never watched it but are willing to hitch their wagons to this train-wreck so that they can virtue-signal/whine/pout/complain, as usual.

    Zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz.
