In the history of mankind, many republics have risen, have flourished for a less or greater time, and then have fallen because their citizens lost the power of governing themselves and thereby of governing their state. TR

  1. Raising money for the RNC, the very people who wish he had never left Trump Tower.
    Old news: Jeff Flake’s surrender
Aside from the AZ Republic’s opinion (they supported Hillary), it’s safe to say that his decision was a relief to the Repubs who wouldn’t or couldn’t support him in a reelection.
He had no real support left as he was viewed as a phony Libertarian/Conservative.
His speech on the subject was disingenuous and not entirely truthful. His main reason for not running again is that he couldn’t win the Primary, not that MrTrump has offended his high moral stature or he isn’t happy with politics of Never-Trumpers and MrTrumps spirited defense of what he believes.
The Never-Trumpers and the elite establishment won’t give MrTrump any credit for his efforts supporting their political adventures or the funds that he raises for them.

    1. Your point about Flake not running again because he wouldn’t win the primary is well taken. Flake and the other Congressional Creepy Crawlies who are pulling out of Congress are voluntarily “draining the swamp” of their own kind. Trump just said BOO to them and they ran away like rats do when you expose them to a bright light. Trump didn’t really have to lift a hand. They drained their own self from the swamp. Genius!
