  1. WTH with all these trips to Mar a lago (or whatever it’s called)

Trump is disappointing me all the time

I voted against hill and not *for* trump there just was no other choice

    • When you see President Trump’s Saturday and Sunday schedule he is usually on phone calls, having meetings or like last weekend, entertaining some head of state.
Loser 0 was off playing golf or entertaining some stupid sports team.
      Patience on dissing our president.

      • Don’t give up on Trump yet! No matter what he does, or doesn’t do, he is still a vast improvement on the former President.

  2. You regulars here know that I have been supporting Trump all along. As a non-American, living in Europe, I am especially interested in American foreign politics as it affects us so much. The foreign politics Trump campaigned for was interesting, promising and appealing. I liked what he said, stop the interventions, start discussions with Russia, dissolve or at least reform NATO, work for a peaceful world. But so far he has done the opposite and yesterday he even embraced Stoltenberg and NATO. He threw Bannon, his loyal campaigner who helped him win the election, under the bus and after that, it is, in my humble opinion, downhill. Now he seems to have other advisors. I understand that a new president must adapt to a certain degree but Trump is abandoning a number of his key promises. I don´t want to come to this conclusion, but I do. Or am I wrong ? Please tell me about it , you still seem to be optimistic. Could it be some sort of theatre to get rid of those people who earlier seemed to attempt a coup, who made the presidency hard for him ? To stop the “Russia-links” nagging ? Who knows, but right now, I am disappointed , very much so. At least I hope he won´t intervene in the upcoming important French election.

    • I don’t like the staffing changes, the demeaning of supporters who fought for him (I believe that this is demeaning to those of us who supported them and him), the cozying up to the GOPe, especially Ryan, and the Ivanka/Jared influence. We’ll see where he lands.

Policy wise I think he responds on a foreign policy level right now as events occur and sometimes to send a message, so ok with that. And domestic is ok too. Cutting through regulations, but keeping the Obamoites in the government in key positions is worrisome.

Still lots to do, and priorities I guess.

    • I’d give it another 100 days, remember Trump had no political experience when he ran for office, he probably found out a whole lot of information that we don’t know about. The office changes you in many ways and can show you some things can’t be done or must be changed in regard to campaign promises.

  3. Will there be an Easter event at the White House? Who gets to dress as a bunny this year? I nominate Barron, I think he’d be a fun bunny.

  4. I’m very optimistic. Think—The Big Picture.

We voted for Trump versus Hillary to put us back on the right path. Yes there will be trips and stumbles and mistakes on this path but we’re going in the right direction.

Supreme Court (whew!). Economy. Counter terrorism. Less emphasis on “multi-culturism” which is importing voters and diluting our original culture which made us great in the first place.

So yes, I’m optimistic, especially considering the Hillary alternative.

    • I’m with you. Barry Obama screwed up 100 percent of everything he touched, and Hillary would have done the same thing. If Trump gets 50 percent or even 30 percent right, then I’m a happy camper. I don’t expect perfection and I didn’t vote for or expect a canonized saint or a George Washington in Trump.

  5. Wearing my biggest tin foil hat AND coat I was thinking. Nothing Barack Obama does is innocent. We make fun of his laziness, etc. and then boom he manufactures a gazillion stultifying regulations and EOs behind closed doors in the dead of night.

I wonder what he was doing in Fiji, Tahiti or wherever he went. That is too far away from public adoration and lights, camera , action for Barry. What was he doing? And why has the MSM been so “uncurious” about this?

Now, he met or will soon meet with Angela Merkel, globalist and multi culturalist par excellence.
