As of now, I am in control here, in the White House

Pelosi Says She Would Have Retired if Hillary Won

I knew there would have been a silver lining somewhere.

House Minority Leader Nancy Pelosi revealed Friday that she was ready to retire from Congress if former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton had won the November election over President Trump, the Washington Examiner reported.

Pelosi told reporters following a discussion at a breakfast hosted by the Christian Science Monitor that if Clinton had won the White House, she “was ready to go home” after 14 years as House Democratic leader and four years as speaker of the House.

“If Hillary had won, I was ready to go home,” Pelosi told reporters. “It was really shocking that someone like Donald Trump would be president of the United States. We yearn for the day of a Mitt Romney or a George Bush or someone. But anyway, that motivated me to stay now.”

  1. Okay…so if you were convinced Cankles was a shoo-in, then why the hell did you run for reelection?

Did you know Hillary would lose, or were you expecting them to call a special election when you retired right after the election?

Dammit, Nancy, we already know you’re a self-centered, arrogant, lying Left Coast limousine liberal, but MUST YOU REMIND US OF IT?!

  2. Well, let’s all celebrate that she is still the face of the Congressional Dems. Nothing reminds the voters of the horrible mess of Obamacare than her simple-minded ‘we have to pass it to see what’s in it..”.
SenSchumer, Sanders, Warren, et al, are the greatest reason for the voters to keep adding to the Repub numbers in DC.
Throw in MsWaters, the guy from SNL who tries to sound intelligent, the pasty-faced botoxed into zombie old timers and it’s all good.

  3. The ‘Walking Dead’ is always looking for new zombie cast members, maybe Nancy and that other fossil Cadaver Reid can make cameo appearances. Bring Maxine along too. None of them would need much prep.

  4. I heard somewhere something to the effect, regarding the HealthCare bill, that language was important and it was important for the public to read and understand. Or some such.

What is was not — We;ll have to pass the bill to know what’s in it.

She’s such a nightmare. But she has lost all her power and is now insignificant and irrelevant. An annoyance.

  5. Good news Friday!
