In the history of mankind, many republics have risen, have flourished for a less or greater time, and then have fallen because their citizens lost the power of governing themselves and thereby of governing their state. TR

Trump and Obama’s Relationship Already in Tatters

Everyone is blaming Trump, but it seems to me the first salvo was launched by Obama, who expressed his support for protests around the country designed to undermine Trump. Anyway, Obama was never serious about working to help Trump. That was all for PR, so that eventually he could seem to be the good guy and say, “Well, I tried.”

From the Washington Examiner:

The relationship between President Trump and former President Barack Obama is basically nonexistent after Trump accused Obama of wiretapping his home and office during the election, angering the former president.

The Wall Street Journal reported Obama is livid at Trump following his weekend tweets accusing the former president of ordering an illegal wiretap. Obama saw those tweets as beneath the office of the presidency.

Obama also irked Trump by not returning a phone call Trump made to Obama to thank him for the letter he left for the new president in the Resolute Desk following Trump’s inauguration, per presidential tradition.

On Jan. 30, Obama expressed support for anti-Trump protests, saying “citizens exercising their Constitutional right to assemble, organize and have their voices heard by their elected officials is exactly what we expect to see when American values are at stake.”

  1. I read somewhere (can’t find the source right now), that Obama hadn’t returned a phone call to President Trump since Inauguration Day. Refuses to talk to Trump. That’s how small Obama is.

  2. Obama sees Trump’s tweets “as beneath the office of the Presidency!” That’s rich! Bill Clinton did disgusting things as President (in the Oval Orriface) with Monica, and Obama invited numerous unsavory anti-American persons and groups into the Oval Office and Situation Room!

    1. How about the useless and childish hashtag campaigns. One of the first by Michelle Obama #Save our Girls. Nigeria I think .

  3. Investigate Obama and the Muslim brotherhood ties. ValJar and Clinton ties to terrorist groups.

Time for Trump to go after these traitors!

  4. Obama said it would be a “personal insult” to him if people didn’t vote for Hillary…so nobody should be surprised by his never-ending temper tantrum.

    1. I forgot that.
      Thanks for the remainder.
      He’s in it now.
While his worshippers still fawn over him, his so called legacy is being dismantled piece by piece.
Totally rejected, not one part being saved.

  5. “Obama was never serious about working to help Trump. That was all PR.” Yes, we certainly noticed that. Obama is a deceitful, petty and mean little man. And he helped to build this horrible Big Brother world that Wikileaks now reveals. I want his grinning facade to crackle, please bring us his real birth certificate and his academic records.

  6. The Law of the Land: Blame Obama for Nothing.

Of course Obama fired the first salvo. And he will continue to destabilize and undermine the duly elected President of the United States as long as he breathes.

Before Trump took office Obama announced that he would be active and speak out against the Administration whenever he felt they were off his course of history. The violent, paid for , staged protests are 100% supported by Barack Obama.

  7. Jobs and manufacturing returning to the US.

WSJ forced to report positive news since Samsung has announced it will manufacture in the US. And while reading the comment section (largely positive and surprised WSJ reported it) saw this.

The son of Tim Kaine(HRC VP)gets arrested at a Trump rally. See the comment by Garland Remington about Kaine’s brat purposely urinating on the police officer’s shoes and pants and Kaine’s response. And Kaine Senior responds:

“We love that our three children have their own views and concerns about current political issues,” he said. “They fully understand the responsibility to express those concerns peacefully.”

Good on Samsung and Trump. And thank God HRC will never be POTUS or Kaine VP.

  8. The letter probably read “I’m gonna get you sucka.”
So when Barry wouldn’t take Trump’s call, Trump’s only recourse was to Tweet his response to Barry.
And one thing Obama is right about; his is own despicable actions are beneath the office of the President. ALL of them.

    1. Son of Rusty Shackleford

When I hear the former manchild-in-chief say “I’m gonna get you sucka,” I hear it in Urkel’s voice.
