In the history of mankind, many republics have risen, have flourished for a less or greater time, and then have fallen because their citizens lost the power of governing themselves and thereby of governing their state. TR

Trump Goes After Obama Again on Twitter

Trump invokes Obama’s own little Russia scandal.

From the Washington Examiner:

President Trump stepped up his confrontation with former President Barack Obama on Sunday, reminding the country of the time Obama sought to furtively assure the Russians that he could deal with them more amicably once he didn’t have to worry about politics.

“Who was it that secretly said to Russian President, ‘Tell Vladimir that after the election I’ll have more flexibility?'” Trump tweeted early Sunday morning.

Keep it up, Mr. President! It’s high time you let the former manchild-in-chief and his minions know that you won’t take their seditious activities lying down!

  2. The Dems never thought their own indiscretions would be made public because the MSM had done such a good job of ignoring them.
When PresTrump uses HIS MSM(twitter) to bypass every news outlet, everything he chooses to air is now public. There are probably millions who have never heard or even heard about that little chat MrObama had with the Russian agent. Now it’s out there, the proof of the incident is available.
This isn’t hearsay or rumor or comes from ‘unnamed sources’, it’s on video and it’s clear.
Why the Dems or the MSM would want to open this can of worms is a mystery. Their own people don’t have clean hands.

    1. Good point about many probably not knowing of the “more flexible after the election” comment. And smart to use as there is documentation.

    1. This is what I’ve been looking for. There’s been a reference or two about Obama’s FISA request to wiretap Trump on radio and TV (always with the “but there’s no proof” criticism) I’ve not been able to find a credible source for the allegation. And here it is! Thanks very much. Under the tried, proven and true rule of: if Obama is talking, he’s lying, I knew Trump wouldn’t make up something like this out of thin air. There had to be a reason for his allegations about the wiretaps. And voila!

      1. I saw something, just in passing, that now Comey says there was no wire tap. I have no link or source. Just saw a comment. If time, might chase it down.

But overall it has been my opinion that Comey is compromised and should go. Sooner rather than later.

        1. Absolutely agree that Comey should go. He is so professionally compromised by his behavior under Obama that his credibility is zero. Not sure why Trump wants to keep him on. Keep your enemies close sort of thing? Dunno. Trump has to get his own people on board in these important positions; it’s now his Executive Branch. He needs to have people around him he can absolutely trust.

          1. Barack Obama is running a destabilizing, disinformation campaign.

I don’t know if what is going on is sedition or sabotage but I do know that the American MSM is participating in a political attack by the Democrat Party against a duly elected sitting US President and to my mind, this is unprecedented and dangerous.
