In the history of mankind, many republics have risen, have flourished for a less or greater time, and then have fallen because their citizens lost the power of governing themselves and thereby of governing their state. TR

Trump Threatens to Cancel Meeting with Mexican President

President Trump threatened on Thursday to cancel his meeting with Mexican President Enrique Peña Nieto if his country won’t agree to pay for the border wall, the Washington Examiner reported.

“The U.S. has a 60 billion dollar trade deficit with Mexico. It has been a one-sided deal from the beginning of NAFTA with massive numbers of jobs and companies lost,” Trump tweeted Thursday morning. “If Mexico is unwilling to pay for the badly needed wall, then it would be better to cancel the upcoming meeting.”

  1. The trade deficit number doesn’t include all the money that illegal workers send to their families back home, further draining our economy.

      1. Deplorable … Mexico has been triple dipping – think of how many people have vacationed there – 7 day cruises, in and out of Baja, in short – tourism. And I’m guilty myself. I love Mexico.

  2. lol. Headlines like this are so refreshing, so novel and wonderful they bring joy to Casa Srdem everyday.

Go Trump. Take no prisoners. Kiss off Mexico, we don’t need you, you need us. You want to be friends with the USA?– call your people back home.

  3. Mexico is 2 faced. They complain about the US deporting Mexicans and at the same time deport many illegals caught in their country. They just deported 90 Cubans.
