Laura Ingraham May Run for Senate in Virginia

That’s right, my former boss at LifeZette reportedly may get into politics. From the Washington Examiner:

The queen of conservative talk radio, Laura Ingraham, is eyeing a Senate run in Virginia and a challenge to Hillary Clinton’s running mate, Sen. Tim Kaine.

Knowledgeable sources said that several party insiders have approached the media giant to run and that she is considering it.

In preparation for a bid, her business partner, Peter Anthony, has begun buying website domains for Ingraham to use should she decide to move forward. It includes:,, and

  1. Virginia, huh. Good luck with that. Every Dem will rally behind the guy who lost the VP role because…Russians.
If the Trump administration and all it’s agenda is a ‘tremendous’ success, it might make the difference.
I’d vote for her, put her campaign sign in my front yard, talk to my lo-info relatives about her stellar qualities, but I’m in AZ, not VA.

    • Well, that’s her area…there could possibly be enough angst to propel her.
I will never forget, last year she didn’t know she was live and said on air; “we’re gonna lose all those f….ing stations”.

  2. Not a good idea. Terry McAuliffe is its governor–you remember him, right? Kaine got elected. There’s the swarming mob of bureaucrats who live in northern Virginia who worry about their jobs in big gov. Virginia is no longer the state where I grew up. It is blue. Laura Ingraham will scare the bejesus out of the aforementioned mob. Still, if she decides to run, Go Girl!

    • Agree with you and srdem65 and I would vote for Ingraham as well.

As for VA being blue forever, there is a new sheriff in town and houses are up for sale and a new Party and new bureaucrats and staff will be buying them. So there is hope…

Spent years in NOVA and WDC would like to see them cleaned up and cleared out. As much as possible, of course.

  3. Orlando nightclub terrorist and shooter Omar Mateen’s wife arrested by THE FBI.

Loyalties turning? A miracle they just unearthed her outside of SF? Now?

  4. She can run, but I don’t see her winning Virginia. My daughter lives and works in Bubble Land, aka NoVA. Her friends and coworkers are scared about the upcoming presidency. No support there.

My sister lives in western Virginia and would no doubt support her, but the big mouths and money will out talk and spend Laura.

  5. Trump has so far behaved more like a true leader than anyone in my lifetime. That is a great start. No one can reform the entire system overnight, and as far as I’m concerned Trump is moving much faster than even I thought possible considering how horribly messed up things are.

    • And he started the night he won. President Trump did not celebrate with pop culture icons, he didn’t take a yeah me! Tour. He got his people in order and proceeded as a true patriot and business organizer. I believe his years of business entrepreneur is a super duper plus for our country.

  6. That is way cool! I think we need great candidates for every office, and whether anyone thinks they can win should not be part of the decision to run!

GO LAURA! Help us MAGA from Virgina!!!!!
