    On a related note, is it me or is everyone else more interested in the President Elect’s schedule per day than the actual President? Good piece in the Wash Examiner today about Trump assuming the role even before raising his hand to take the oath.

      So far, all we know is he’s planning on the Army-Navy game this week.

    OT: What Happened?
    Here and there, thoughtful essays are popping up wondering how the Dems didn’t notice they had lost the political game across the country. Why did so many states turn red, why did Dems lose power in so many state houses, legislatures, city councils when Dems were happily moving their agenda without a peep from fly-over country?
    There were no public protests, no riots, no pushy groups claiming outrage at the Dem agenda.
    The pundits and elites are baffled and unsure what to do now.
    IMO: What really happened
    In no particular order –
    You didn’t build that.
    Black Lives Matter.
    You can keep your doctor.
    Obamas on another posh vacation.
    Men can become women.
    Islamists killing innocent people.
    VA outrages.
    Obamacare.
    Sanctuary cities.
    EPA’s harsh regulations
    Faux unemployment figures.
    Benghazi
    Iran
    Iraq
    Afghanistan
    Racist, Deplorables, etc.
    Our National Anthem and our flag.
    ……
    Like straws on the camel’s back, each one added another weight until– Trump/Pence.

      Well said SRDEM65, well said…. People in the heartland voted quietly and deliberately. They have self respect and want to be independent, as opposed to the urban blue-lites that vote each time for the giveaways.

      Nicely done. Under the fascist cabal of the Obama administration/corrupt Democrat political leadership/media pro-Hillary flummery and frippery, we got all got a taste of what living in the early Soviet Union must have been like. We didn’t much like it.

    Too close to his party time at the Ball tonight to fly all the way to the west coast and back!! While on vacation at the end of the month in Hawaii, maybe he’ll sneak over to Pearl Harbor and throw a wreath over the USS Arizona !! NOT!! Pathetic!!!
