In the history of mankind, many republics have risen, have flourished for a less or greater time, and then have fallen because their citizens lost the power of governing themselves and thereby of governing their state. TR

Did Obama Actually Call Someone Else Whiny?

From a piece I wrote for LifeZette:

President Obama this week waded into the general election with his customary grace, instructing Donald Trump to stop “whining” that the contest might be rigged.

“If you start whining before the game’s even over, if whenever things are going badly for you and you lose — you start blaming somebody else — then you don’t have what it takes to be in this job,” Obama said. “I’d invite Mr. Trump to stop whining and go try to make his case to get votes.”

Obama asking someone not to whine is a bit like Miley Cyrus telling Katy Perry to put some clothes on. Obama has been whining since the moment he took office. If there’s ever been a whinier commander-in-chief, then he whined privately, because there’s no record of such incessant presidential moaning.

Obama has literally spent his entire presidency whining about his predecessor, who, in Obama’s view, left him with a task too Herculean to overcome.

  1. Well said Keith, and Laura would agree.

Obama was a tool that the left used to promote ideas that were on the shelf for years and under his administration many of them have come to fruition.
    Too bad they aren’t permanent.

With a congress that was willing to be intimidated or for that matter complicit, the damage that he has orchestrated can be reversed.

I admire Trump for his guts to take on this monstrosity called the USA who has been run into debt above what she will have to make a major effort to extricate herself from.

Liberalism has been proven to be faulty.
Conservatism has been proven to be effective.

    Why not choose the latter?

  2. “Liberalism has been proven to be faulty”

This is true. Liberals, however, will never – under any circumstances – admit this.

And the division Trump has caused in the Republican party, the mass exodus of true conservatives from the party he and party leadership (Priebus, et al) are responsible for will take decades to undo, if at all.

The post-Trump Republican party is a scorched-earth political wasteland.

And the most corrupt woman ever to hold elected office in the United States will look out over the Great Unwashed with contempt and disdain.

    We are all doomed.

    1. Trump didn’t cause the divisions in the Republican Party. The fault lies with people like Boehner, Ryan, McConnell, McCain, Romney, The Bush Family and even some in the conservative leaning media. All of the above culprits would rather Hillary win and Trump lose. We elected people, who we thought would represent us and stop Obama’s criminal behavior. Instead they stabbed us in the back, gave Obama everything he wanted, and they got filthy rich doing it. Don’t blame Trump, he wasn’t around when the division started.

  3. I would have assumed, being the chosen one and all, Obama could have overcame anything thrown his way. Instead. All he’s done since before he got to office was complain about everyone and everything. Still blaming Bush after all this time is very unbecoming. With being the smartest guy in the room, he still hasn’t figured out the most basic things.

      1. This man does not have an athletic bone in his body. Just the king of wearing mom jeans and pretending to ride a bike…manly things don’t come easy for Barry

    1. Yeah, at least Trump is out daily discussing the issues. Where is Hillary and why is POTUS out stumping for her. So he can say Trump is whining and Hillary isn’t. Oh that’s right, she’s napping and incapable of the rigorous schedule of campaigning. But once she’s president, it will be all good, cause she can handle a schedule just like Obama.

  5. Obama is the worst! He and his family are the #1 Welfare Family in America, all they do is take, take and take some more. Obama wouldn’t even take care of his own mother-in-law himself, he found a way to give her a “pension” for what? Living high on the hog in the White House thats what she gets a pension for. And we the American people have to pay her every year for the rest of her life? Obama, you are not a man, take care of your own damn family, cheap chizler!

Obama at age 55. That is 54 years of “hey look at me!”
On how to win friends and influence people.
One topic of self-improvement is: Don’t not criticize, condemn, or complain.
Well that being not an easy behavior, we need then to come up with additional category. Like a general question such as ” are $het’en me?

  7. I like the part where Obama instructed DJT to stop blaming everyone else. The Blame Game is Obama’s theme song.
I noticed the very same thing with Hillary. Every negative thing about DJT that comes out of her mouth can be attributed to her own words and actions.

    1. As trained Alinsky moonbats, Barry and Hillary learned to use derision, mockery, insults and shaming to defeat their opponents. They carefully avoid the facts and truth of their own nefarious, disgraceful and reprobate lives, while counting on a corrupt corporate media to carry them through the political storms. That’s what we’re witnessing now.
