President Obama, who has spent more time in office whining about his opposition than any president I can imagine, today rejected Donald Trump’s contention that the presidential contest is “rigged” and told him to go get some votes instead of complaining.
Obama spoke during a news conference today with Italian Prime Minister Renzi:
If you start whining before the game’s even over, if whenever things are going badly for you and you lose, you start blaming somebody else, then you don’t have what it takes to be in this job . . . I’d invite Mr. Trump to stop whining and go try to make his case to get votes.
Obama, then, must not have what it takes to do the job. He whines constantly that Republicans are “obstructing” his noble agenda and, more dangerously, has used illegal and unconstitutional means to circumvent the will of Congress via executive order.
