In the history of mankind, many republics have risen, have flourished for a less or greater time, and then have fallen because their citizens lost the power of governing themselves and thereby of governing their state. TR

      1. Yes, the wording of this schedule is odd.
The timing is odder. Ridiculous I know, but I often wonder if the times noted on his schedule are some kind of secret code for insiders.
At any rate, the sloppiness of the
        soon-to-end 8 year term emerges.
        (God willing)
Everyone is much too busy positioning themselves for a media career or placement into a private equity/law firm.

  1. So, the White House and Shrillary’s campaign sent Moochelle up to NH to campaign for her today. Mooch delivered an academy award winning performance on the horrors of Donald Trump, and then the White House followed that up by warning Trump that he better not respond to Queen Moochelle’s melodramatic attacks:

White House to Trump: Don’t Talk About Michelle Obama

The White House sent a warning to Donald Trump Thursday: Attacking Michelle Obama is off limits.

The first lady blasted Trump without actually naming him during a campaign speech for Democrat Hillary Clinton on Thursday. The White House followed up with its own message for the Republican presidential candidate.

“I can’t think of a bolder way for Donald Trump to lose even more standing than he already has than by engaging the first lady of the United States,” principal deputy White House press secretary Eric Schultz said on Air Force One, Politico reported.

During a Clinton rally in Manchester, N.H., Obama addressed the recently released audio of comments Trump made in 2005 that were sexually sexually aggressive and graphic.

“I can’t believe I’m saying a candidate for president of the United States has bragged about sexually assaulting women,” Obama said, per CNN.

“I can’t stop thinking about this. It has shaken me to my core in a way I could not have predicted. I know this is a campaign, but this isn’t about politics. It’s about basic human decency.”

Obama went onto say the comments were forcing women to recollect painful memories of when they were harassed in their offices or sexually assaulted.

“The truth is it hurts. It hurts,” she said.

“It’s like that sick, sinking feeling you get when you are walking down the street, minding your own business and some guy yells out vulgar words about your body or when you see that guy at work that stands a little too close, stares a little too long and makes you feel uncomfortable in your own skin,” she said, as the crowd went silent.

While she didn’t mention her husband, President Barack Obama, she said Trump’s comments did not reflect how the men in her family discuss women.

“I can tell you the men in my life do not talk about women like this. I know my family is not unusual,” she said adding, “they are loving fathers who are sickened by the thought of their daughters being exposed to this kind of vicious language about women.”

    1. She brought it up. She entered the fray. She is fair game.

I don’t know about her family. But I do know about her friends, her role models, and the guests to the WH and they sing and talk about women as “hos” and “baby mamas” and other demeaning ugly things. So , Michelle Obama is nothing but a fraud. And I am so sick of it.

      1. Exactly Grace, the Obamas brought that nasty rap-culture into the White House. That crowd for certain isn´t champions of womens and childrens rights. What about all these children in the black slums, growing up without fathers present. Yes, Michelle Obama and her “husband” are frauds and hypocrites and I am also sick of it.
By the way, I watched most parts of Trumps speech in West Palm Beach on CNN yesterday. It was brilliant. He went after Hillary and her campaign with fire and gusto and brought up much of what the MSM is trying to ignore and hide, the Wikileaks facts, the corruption . Yes, he is a great orator and the audience was with him all the way. Afterwards, that mean little Wolf Blitzer and his collaborators talked again about…Trumps attitudes towards women.
Take it from a feminist like me, I can laugh at Trumps bragging and macho style but I do not think that he basically has bad attitudes towards women. He is spoiled of course, used to always dating the prettiest girls. I guess he was a Mamas boy, with a doting mother. How many girls, if any, did Barry date before that…marriage ? There is something really interesting for the sex-crazy media to dig into. And maybe the reason why Michelle never have heard Barry talk about women ” in that way”……

        1. Exactly, swedishlady. Of course Barry would never speak about women that way. Now, if he was talking about a handsome young boy toy, or even one of the “old white guys” he purportedly loved to service at Man’s Country, I imagine he’d be just as crude, if not more so.

    2. As if Ugly ME’Chelle ever was whistled at or stared at by any man, anywhere. The only thing people stare at when it comes to ME’Chelle is the ubiquitous crotch bump under “her” clothing.

    3. “…as the crowd went silent.”
Because they were trying to imagine anyone saying anything disparaging about her appearance. /sarc.
Some years ago, while walking down a street in NYC, I was the recipient of cat calls. Me! A middle aged woman got a wolf whistle and a “hey baby!”
      I was thrilled. hahaha!
We keep a respectful distance from one another because it is a part of our cultural norm. But, after living in other countries, one learns that the culture of certain nations includes
non-recognition of personal space – and a lot of staring. They don’t know we find it offensive.
Michelle – after all these years, we still don’t really know who you are, what you are or where you stand on many issues. When you send mixed messages, confusion and doubt about your sincerity is an expected result.
Actions have consequences and your behavior and words in this instance and many others makes us suspicious of you and distrustful of your message.
You can’t bully people with words and then expect no response. Sorry. That rule applies to all of us – even you, Michelle.
Word to the wise, dear: If you can’t run with the big dogs, stay on the porch. But remember, it is said that when you lie down with certain dogs, you can expect to get fleas.

    1. Juat that it happened and I am not surprised and the UN is a sh*thole of Third Worlders parading their ill gotten gains through the streets of civilization.’

And , of yes, that it is not surprising that Barack Obama might aspire to be General Secretary of that Swamp.

    1. My local paper this morning, The Record (North Jersey), now owned by Gannett: 4 articles/editorials on the trumped up Trump allegations; 2 sentences buried deep in one Trump article mentioning that there was a WikiLeak dump on Clinton with zero details. Today’s editorial cartoon actually was bipartisan–both sides waiting for the next October surprise, but that is only about the third time this year that it wasn’t solely anti Trump. Very disheartening, but even more–frightening.
