   Another tough day ending with a gala. As you all know, I might be “losing it”. But somehow I see Mooch in some kind of animal print with a tiara of little giraffe knobs. Go figure.

   Ash Carter and Obama. Nothing good will happen here for the security of America or for the troops. Carter makes Hagel look brilliant and engaged. Anyhoo …

   But here is a little light. Remember the tepid response to Obama at the UN? Linked is an article from the formerly respectable FT.

   It reeks of liberal globalist fear about Donald Trump. It misrepresents Trump, his intentions and his positions. But mainly I like this article for the palpable globalist fear running through it, for the comments telling the author how off base he is and for the fact that he uses this word “hyperpuissance”.

   Also there is a total lack of self awareness. He says “the capacity of a thin-skinned, shoot-from-the-hip president to wreak havoc is chilling:. And he is talking about Trump, not Obama.

   Read it. And you will be able to imagine how well Obama, with his condescension and scorn, fits in with this crowd.
