In the history of mankind, many republics have risen, have flourished for a less or greater time, and then have fallen because their citizens lost the power of governing themselves and thereby of governing their state. TR

Debbie Wasserman Schultz Booed Off the Stage at DNC Breakfast

She should be. She didn’t play fair, she was supposed to be a neutral presence in the Democratic primaries, and she was all in for Hillary.

At this event, she was forced by Bernie Sanders supporters to break off her speech and was escorted out by security.

She’s supposed to gavel the convention to order at 4 pm ET today. She might want to reconsider.

Here’s another view.

Reminds me of this.

  1. She was so “bad” at her job she was rewarded by Hillary to work within the campaign. How the media isn’t talking about the sheer hypocrisy of Hillary hiring her less than an hour after she was asked to step down from the DNC is beyond me.

More incredibly stupid and unbelievable, in Hillary’s interview last night on 60 Minutes, she said she had not read or was even aware of the issues of the email. Holy cow, is that even possible?????????????????????/

    1. because it involved e-mails=mental block for her (among other mental blocks. Funny quote i read.

Hillary:Trump why don’t you release your tax returns?

Trump: I e-mailed them to you.

  2. re: emails
Just wondering, when did people stop talking to each other – in person, on the phone?
MrsClinton’s problems with classified documents wouldn’t have happened if the information was faxed or delivered in printed form.
Where was MrsC that the only communication with her people or the State dept was email or cell phone? Where were the DNC people that information had to be passed over the wifi?
    Just wondering.

    1. We have had secure communications since the Navajo Code Talkers in WWII.
There is no excuse for what she did.
The fact that she is getting away with it tells you how corrupt the government has become.

And if she is elected, she will be granted security clearances that many people cannot attain.

  3. The RNC was slated to be a chaotic mess, but between the nothingburger protests and the delegates coalescing around Trump, it turned out better than expected. Ted Cruz’s political self-immolation was just gravy, and oh that post convention bounce!

Meanwhile, the DNC is supposed to be an orderly coronation, a transfer of power from one affirmative action candidate to another. The empty suit passes the baton to the empty pantsuit, and magically, sunshine puppies rainbows unicorns all is right in yaddayaddayadda.

Two things I have observed: History may not be good at repeating itself verbatim, but it certainly has an uncanny ear for rhyme; and the Almighty has quite the sly sense of humor when He’s in a joking mood.

Neither one of those bodes well for this week’s frivolities in Philly.

  4. Bernie supporters must be delighted to hear that HRC and DWS are going to campaign together./s/

    Official statement from Clinton campaign:

DWS will serve as ‘ honorary chair of the campaign’s “50-state program to gain ground and elect Democrats in every part of the country”.
Clinton and DWS will campaign together both to help elect Clinton to the White House and to help with Wasserman Schultz’s House re-election campaign.”

  5. The fix is in. How could any true supporter of Bernie ever vote for this bunch of miscreants? I detest lots of politicians, but Debbie Wasserman Schultz is one that I can stand the least, other than Hillary. Only fitting they’ve joined forces for the benefit of evil.
