The State Department’s own inspector General released a report today to lawmakers stating the Hillary Clinton broke State Department record keeping rules.
According to Politico:
“Therefore, Secretary Clinton should have preserved any Federal records she created and received on her personal account by printing and filing those records with the related files in the Office of the Secretary,” the report states. “At a minimum, Secretary Clinton should have surrendered all emails dealing with Department business before leaving government service and, because she did not do so, she did not comply with the Department’s policies that were implemented in accordance with the Federal Records Act.”
Clinton declined to be interviewed by the IG, as did her former top aides, Cheryl Mills, Jake Sullivan, and Huma Abedin.
What is their possible excuse for no cooperating? It’s a probe by the Obama administration, they can’t possibly claim it’s a “witch hunt.” If a Republican declined to cooperate, it would be big news.

I am really surprised the IG has weighed in. He is saying, fairly plainly, that Hills broke the law. That’s a felony. Assuming the FBI brings quite a bit more to the party in their report, it’s going to be interesting to see how Lynch defends not indicting Hillary.
My more-cynical side still wonders if Lynch will stay out of it until about October 15, then take out Hillary with an extensive indictment. Obama would be “forced” to cancel the election for lack of a Dem candidate, and it would be game on.
This is all very much like a behind the scene conspiracy. I wonder what the plot is that has formed behind closed doors in the Obozo administration.

I note that they’ve hauled this Elizabeth Warren character out of the barn today, just in time to create a counter-story to the IG report about Hillary’s corrupt behavior with her private server. Now Warren is talking about Trump making statements about taking advantage of the housing bubble crisis–buying low, taking advantage of people about to lose their houses, selling said property for a profit. “How cruel, how awful, how terrible” she says.
But wait! She did exactly the same thing.That’s how she made her fortune before she got paid $350,000 by Harvard for teaching one course because she had Cherokee blood in her, you see. You won’t see the MSM reporting on this astounding hypocrisy on Warren’s part. No siree. Not a word. She put people out of their homes, created misery and generally drooled over the cash she was making in these kids of real estate transactions. And, oh by the way, the real estate bubble was created by the Community Reinvestment Act, which Bubba Clinton vigorously promoted.

I turned on the cable news channels as soon as I heard about this, flipping between CNN and MSNBC – as you might expect, this is a non-story for them. for the first seven to ten minutes of the noon shows, both networks focused in on Trump’s protest and Trump Trump Trump – then Andrea Mitchell felt she had to say something, she did so with a heavy heart, saying as little as she could and interviewing only two people, both of whom said Hillary broke the law. The MSM will downplay this for sure, which they’ve done from the beginning. A sad state of affairs.
Bet it will come up at Morning Joe.
Who has almost no one watching.
