As of now, I am in control here, in the White House

    • I submit it was and is, the white races are smarter. IQ test over the years show whites are smarter (key) on average than all but the Asians.

Whites are not tribe driven like most of the rest of world.

Races (other than the current invaders) blended in and accepted the American way of life. This is no longer true.

  1. Speaking of the Daily Mail, today’s edition has an article and photos of Bill Clinton’s generally acknowledged to be mistress, the “Energizer,” running.

The Comments are generally negative re Ms. Clinton’s degree of attractiveness.

    • LOL, UK’s Daily Mail, America’s newspaper because our media sucks !

Though ya gotta be careful with some of their stories, they can be a little biased too. And I don’t recommend following them on social media unless you want your newsfeeds plastered with Kardashian Krap.

      • The Daily Mail’s articles on Barry and Mooch are always subtly snarky, in an oh-so-polite British way. The comments are sometimes hilarious.

  2. Since this is a weekend open thread, I am reading an involving book called THE VALLEY by John Renehan. A rear echelon first lieutenant is sent to the most mysterious and dangerous sector of Afghanistan to investigate a routine citizen complaint that a soldier fired a warning shot to break up a crowd upset over the killing of a man’s goat. I am anxious to get back and listen some more. I download my audios from Overdrive–a free library service…they also have downloadable print books for Kindles, etc, by the thousands.

    • I am a book worm, Star. Sounds interesting, I want to hear more.
I am reading Noam Chomsky right now. Oh , I know, probably not so very popular here, but I find him very interesting. I like a perspective. When not reading Chomsky I read a novel about Aaron Burr by Gore Vidal.

    • See if you can find a book entitled “Forest Rose.”
It’s about a colonial girl kidnapped by the indians and held on a mountain in my home town.
      She escaped.
I read it years ago, I just wonder if it is still available.
Great book, great story, actually happened.

      • AFVeT, I have read another book, by James Alexander Thom, about another colonial girl, kidnapped by the Shawnees. She, Mary Draper Ingles, escaped too. Great book, true story. Seems like it was not unusual that white women were held captives among indians.

        • Mt Pleasant as I said is a huge sandstone rock that stands in Lancaster, Ohio.
I have been to the top of it, and you can see the the city from that height.

On the back of the stone, there is enough dirt pushed up to hike up to the top.
On the face of the stone it is a sheer cliff.
The indians called it the standing stone.

        • “Follow the River” by James Alexander Thom. Great book, I read it twice. How she survived the trek back to her home after she escaped is amazing to me.

      • Fifth grade. Ash Road, about a horrible fire roaring through Australia. I can still see the pictures of what I read in my head.

  3. Biden gave the commencement address at West Point today, as he did in 2012:

Biden: Diverse military of women, gays strengthens US forces
    [Associated Press] May 21, 2016

WEST POINT, N.Y. (AP) — Vice President Joe Biden told the U.S. Military Academy’s class of 2016 on Saturday that greater diversity, including more women and openly gay soldiers, will strengthen the country’s armed forces.

“Having men and women together in the battlefield is an incredible asset, particularly when they’re asked to lead teams in parts of the world with fundamentally different expectations and norms,” Biden said in his speech at a graduation ceremony at Michie Stadium on the West Point grounds along the Hudson River.

More than 950 cadets received their degrees and commissions as second lieutenants. Among them were the first seven women to be commissioned into combat divisions since combat restrictions for them were lifted.

The vice president saluted class president Eugene “E.J.” Coleman for publicly coming out as gay.

Before the repeal of the military’s “don’t ask, don’t tell” policy in 2010, “E.J. would have been discharged from the Army, and we would have lost an incredible talent,” he said. “Thanks for your courage, E.J., and I expect we’re going to hear big things from you, pal.”

    • Nothing. I mean NOTHING the Obama regime has done has strengthened our military.
Now take Joe, wrap him back in plastic and put him back in the storeroom until more WH dung has to be flung.

    • The fundamental transformation of this Country and it’s military is in the final stages of completion.
Obama said that he was going to do it and he has and the congress has allowed him to do it.

Our congress is the problem, not the president.

Obama is a radical communistic socialist that is relishing in the fact that he has taken this nation to it’s knees by dictating the rules that he thinks that we should live by.
And yet congress sits by plotting their next election fundraising events.

Biden is an embarrassment, and so is Obama.

America, We can do better than this.

      • And he got RICH doing it and lives extravagantly on taxpayers dime.
Talk about you didn’t build that.
        He’s the master non-builder.

        • Yeah, he tears everything down and like you said, Congress lets him do it! Just pray that we can get rid of these people one of these days, they go on and on, Pelosi, Reid, Obama, The Clintons??? and now Bernie the Communist Sanders, trying to turn the youth against America now. It never ends. Trump 2016, maybe, just maybe he will turn back time!

      • Very interesting article on “American Thinker” today regarding little bathroom barry, nothing I didn’t know already but puts it into perspective.
