President Obama wants to protect the United States from ISIS by taking measures that could — yes — allow more ISIS operatives into the United States.
In his weekly address Saturday, Obama suggested his policy of settling Syrian refugees in the United States could combat ISIS by giving the U.S. propaganda points for showing how much it cares. But his plan ignores that accepting Syrian refugees risks bringing into the country bad guys posing as needy migrants.
“As we move forward in this fight, we have to wield another weapon alongside our airstrikes, our military, our counterterrorism work, and our diplomacy,” Obama said. “And that’s the power of our example. Our openness to refugees fleeing ISIL’s violence.”
Obama plans to admit 10,000 Syrian refugees during the current fiscal year, which ends October 1 — and even more during fiscal year 2017.
Meantime, Europe, which has welcomed Syrian refugees with far more open arms — perhaps 1 million have entered in the last five years — is finding its empathy reciprocated with bombings and terrorism committed and planned in part by ISIS members who slipped into the European Union along with legitimate Syrian refugees.
GOP front-runner Donald Trump called Obama’s suggestion “insane,” telling Fox News, “I can’t even believe that he’s saying it. It’s inconceivable that he’s saying it.”
In the wake of last week’s attacks in Brussels, Texas Sen. Ted Cruz renewed his call to bar refugees from Syria.
The White House has previously justified admitting Syrians on humanitarian grounds. Now, Obama is suggesting that bringing people into the country from a terrorist breeding ground somehow benefits national security because people will start to like us.
Critics of the program complain the vetting process for Syrians is inadequate, and that it is impossible to obtain reliable records from the war-torn country.
“What the president is telling us is not true. We can’t vet the refugees … There is no vetting as a practical matter,” warned Rep. Peter King, R-N.Y., in September after Obama announced his plan to admit 10,000 Syrians. “Unless we know who they are, we cannot allow them in. My job is to protect Americans, not to feel good about myself,” added King, former chairman of the House Homeland Security Committee and still a senior member of the panel.
It is unclear why Syrian refugees need to make their way to the United States, given the risks, and could not instead be housed in other Middle Eastern countries.
In his address, Obama also appeared to rebuff efforts to focus security programs on Muslims, such as suggestions by both Cruz and Trump that some mosques should be put under surveillance.
Obama indicated trying to protect the homeland by targeting the populations from which terrorists are most likely to emerge as anti-American.
“We have to reject any attempt to stigmatize Muslim-Americans, and their enormous contributions to our country and our way of life,” Obama said. “Such attempts are contrary to our character, to our values, and to our history as a nation built around the idea of religious freedom.”

Look, I have nothing against Muslims who have assimilated into America and practice their religion peacefully without demanding we change to them.
But can we drop the “and their enormous contributions to our country and our way of life,” B.S.
It’s only in the past 25 years that the floodgates have opened up and their population grown unabated. Sure they have made “contributions” just as any other average American makes contributions.
But there is nothing, absolutely nothing in our founding documents, or our first 200 plus year timeline of Islam being essential to “our way of life”. If anything, it is the polar opposite of “our way of life”.
At least that’s what the facts of history show, but the way things are going I’m sure they’ll rewrite that as well.

Obama makes it very clear.
Future generations are going to pay the price for all of the unending wars in the hell-hole of the world – the Middle East. The unintended (?) consequences? Millions of unvetted, unsavory refugees and asylum seekers with no connection to our culture or Christianity!
Add to this, the dregs of society from Central America – gangbangers posing as ‘unaccompanied minors’, convicted felons ( if you commit a felony in another country, it doesn’t count in America)…poverty, and illiteracy.

So let’s summarize the story so far:
1. ISIS has notified us (many times) that they are embedding their killers in the waves of Middle Eastern migrant going to Europe and the US.
2. The FBI Director informed the American public that there are ISIS cells in every one of our states.
3. FBI Director Comey has also stated that there are 900 (NINE HUNDRED!) ongoing investigations of ISIS activities in the United States.
4. Immigration authorities and the FBI have said that it is impossible to vet the incoming ME refugees for a variety of reasons–they have no paper work, or they have phony passports, there are too many of them migrating in too short a period.
5. In the light of this, Obama demands that we bring in even more unvetted ME migrants from Syria and other countries in that area (where we know ISIS killers are embedded in the incoming stream of ME migrants).
6. When criticism of Obama’s insane immigration plan is spoken, Obama launches his attacks on those critics, inferring that they are heartless, evil subhumans, and only he, Obama, is the hero of the day.

And that’s where we are.
These immigrants are not entirely Syrians. The majority are either Indian or Pakistani. Pakistan is the seat of terror. I cannot stress that enough.
This will not end well for too many citizens of the USA. I try not to say “Americans” anymore, I believe that word describes people of North American descent – not the citizenry of our country.
Sadly, friends and relatives will be exposed to barbarism…including those of the media. Perhaps those who believe the immigrants are innocent victims (i.e., the media and the far left) will sing a different tune after they are victimized. This is not a threat – merely a personal observation.
Agree, they come from all over the Mideast, and Pakistan is a key resource area. The jihadists, and ISIS in particular, have declared war on Western civilization and Christianity. They are coming, they are here, and they are committing their murders and evil deeds before our very eyes. Europe is a catastrophe and it will get much worse before it’s over.
And yet when anyone talks about temporary stopping immigration to address the problems that you noted, we’re racist, etc.
It happens because we allow the other side to define who we are, and the MSM goes along with the game and reinforces the lie. It’s hard to beat an enterprise that buys ink by the barrel, as the saying goes.
Why can’t this man be stopped?

Nothing, absolutely NOTHING gives him the authority to import any ‘migrant’ and/or refugee to America. He should have been arrested years ago and we can thank congressional Republicans for allowing him to get away with the corruption and betraying our trust.
